"Despite the bustling atmosphere, he never rushed me and took the time to explain how he prepares his garlic jack pizza. Honestly, he could have convinced me to try it even if I were allergic! While I waited in my car, he personally brought my order out to me, which made me feel like part of the family. That kind of warmth isn’t something I encounter often, and it definitely deserves a mention in this review. As for the food, the pizza, onion rings, chicken wings, and garlic bread were all fantastic. The blue cheese served with them was particularly good, too. I even enjoyed the cold leftovers the next morning, and they were still delicious. Overall, I’d give this place a 10/10 and would absolutely come back for more."

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"We had a fantastic evening filled with delicious food, drinks, and outstanding service. We were celebrating my 60th birthday, and the staff surprised me with a sombrero to wear, along with ice cream and a rendition of "Happy Birthday." It was a lot of fun! The atmosphere was very festive and the staff was incredibly friendly."

"The food is on the very good side of what you’d expect from a little joint like this. I gathered that the grill guy is actually a real Chef and this is one of many “cook” jobs that he has. I watched/listened to him while he worked and he definitely seemed like pouring waffle batter and flipping eggs was a little below his skill level! The waitresses were a little matter of fact but treated everyone like they were in the “friends and family” club which was very nice! You’ll be wanting to leave a good tip. I’ve been to fancier places and not left as happy as I did here! You have to try this place at least once! I know I’ll be going back! Oh, the linguiça, onion and pepper omelette was VERY good!"

"If you have ever dreamed of a happy hometown restaurant with great food and people that smile, then look no further. Most importantly, the food is delicious, and the ingredients are of great quality. The restaurant is clean and well lit with booths, tables, and a long counter. I had the best steak tips of my life, they were flavorful and made with all good cuts of meat. On a trip for breakfast I had Bifana for the first time and I am now a fan of traditional Portuguese breakfasts. Lastly I also used their catering services for a 65 person dinner and wad truly pleased with their food in terms of quantity and quality. I had at least a dozen people compliment the food. One person said it was the best meal I have ever had in this building so I will definitely keep DeAvilas on the top of the list for my next catered event. Thank you to Joy and your family for a great experience."
