The service was a little lacking, but they were slammed with customers. The food was very good. I had the grits, eggs, sausage, and the biscuit gravy. The coffee was okay. This place would be awesome with a little better tasting coffee.

If you're in search of a great meal, this is the place to be. The fantastic chef, Rick, along with wonderful hostesses Sandra and Kelly, make the experience even better. Russel and Bryan add to the warm atmosphere, making it a truly happy place to dine.

We really wanted to try this place. After reading reviews we felt we were prepared for a rundown older cafe but good food. The decrepit motel next door has been closed and condemned. Walking in, there was a thick fog of grease in the air. Made us cough and we left. Went solely for the burger and was pleasantly surprised with a vintage experience which captured the old school essence of burger restaurants of yesteryear. The cook Kenny has been doing his craft for 35 years!!! So he knows how to season a hand crafted burger. I ordered a small burger with sautéed onions and my buddy orders the 1lb burger. That’s right a 1lb burger. Both tasted great and the staff was friendly and inviting. I plan to take my wife back to enjoy the experience!

The next morning, I discovered that I had been charged twice for my meal, which means I effectively paid for it three times! When I contacted the owner, I provided proof that the payments had gone through, but I was still refused a refund. If I hadn’t been able to pay, I wouldn’t have been allowed to leave the restaurant! Yet, when it comes to these business transactions, they make it extremely difficult to get your money back. I will NOT be returning to this place again. I ended up spending $36 for a $12.43 meal, and I’m absolutely furious!

We were running errands in town and decided to try a random place to eat. We wanted breakfast and this place had good reviews, plus it was local. I won't lie though... when we pulled into the parking lot, we almost left because the building is very worn down and old. However we didn't want to judge a book by its cover so we gave it a try. All I can say is WOW! The food was great! There was an open kitchen and it appeared to be a crew of just 3 or 4 running the whole place. They did a great job our drinks stayed full and the food came out piping hot. Everything tasted homemade and it really hit the spot. We had chicken fried steak and eggs!
