The food was really good, done right, not over seasoned or over-sauced. Fast service, great customer service, the atmosphere was ok we had a large loud group just down from us and it made it hard to hear the other person I was with. This restaurant has been one of our favorites in the area. They offer a diverse menu, the staff is friendly, and the food is generally good. However, I tried the prime rib and wouldn't recommend it. The French dip, on the other hand, is fantastic, and the pasta dishes have consistently been great.

Really nice lunch place with interesting design. I think it still might be under some construction but we were seated quickly. The bread is delicious and the service was good. My only suggestions was the back of the booth is shared by the table in front and behind. You could feel everytime the person behind you moved back and it felt like you were on an amusement ride. The salads were good but the plating leaves no room to combine the ingredients with the dressing so some of it ends up falling off the plate. The shrimp salad also lacked seasoning and acid. Just a few tweaks and this would receive 5 stars.

This place is amazing! Darling atmosphere, fancy but comfortable. The food was AMAZING! The Philly CheeseSteak sandwich was the best I've ever had. Tons of peppers, and mushrooms, and we got it with white America cheese and it was gooey delicious. And of course the beer bread there is so famously delicious and rightfully so. Customer service was top notch- friendliest staff, and my fries weren't hot when they came out. I asked if they would warm them up and they just brought me out a huge order of the hottest, freshest sweet potatoes fries I've ever had. I highly recommend Hug-Hes Cafe! I visited today for the first time with some coworkers, and everyone had positive things to say about the food. I had the Mexican Club Wrap with Buffalo Fries, and I would order it again in an instant! The meal was served with a pickle and a fry sauce. We also tried the artichoke dip as an appetizer, which was delicious, though I forgot to take a photo. On our way out, we all grabbed cookies; I picked a sugar cookie with pink frosting for my kids, and I’m sure they’ll love it. Our waitress was fantastic, though I didn’t catch her name! She always kept my water filled. She really took good care of us, and I can’t wait to return for more delicious food!

I enjoy Hug-Hes Cafe, especially their delicious bonus cookies and bread! The food has a homemade taste that I appreciate. However, during my recent online order, I requested the gravy on the side, yet it arrived smothered all over the meal. When I went to pick it up, they mentioned there would be an extra charge of $2.50 for additional gravy, which I clarified I didn't want—just a side portion. Unfortunately, they didn't respond, even after I left a tip. Once I got home, my food was soggy, which was disappointing. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered an issue; my last online order from Hug-Hes was also incorrect. I understand that these are tough times for businesses, but my takeaway...

I had the misfortune of dining at this establishment recently, and it was an experience I'll be eager to forget. Upon arrival, we checked in with the hostess at 7:30 pm for a party of three. Despite our timely check-in, we were told there would be a 15-minute wait, which we accepted. Meanwhile, another couple who arrived before us, seemingly distracted by their phones, requested a table after us. During my brief trip to the bathroom, I noticed a disturbing sight: numerous tables cluttered with used plates and cups, and the restaurant's dining area was far from full—only a third of the tables were occupied.
