"I messed up the dates on when we were supposed to be arriving and they were able to fit us in anyway. We had to wait an hour but it was worth it. Every single person was super friendly but also very professional. Highly recommend the caprese salad as well as the sweet potato chips. They were so super non-greasy and the dip that went with it was outstanding. We weren't as excited as we were hyped up to be for the gnocchi and fresh catch, the breadfruit dumplings was a very curious flavor. But, the filet was perfect and there was a generous portion of vegetables and the potatoes were amazing. The lobster tail was huge and super tender. For dessert, we had the homemade salted caramel vanilla ice cream with the banana and strawberry fried lumpia. It was really good."

We decided to do the tasting menu with wine pairings. Everything was delicious! Each course kept getting better!!!! We thought the wine selections paired nicely with each dish. I can't believe how tender the bibimbap tenderloin was and how tasty the gazpacho was!!! Soooo good! We are considering going back again for the same tasting menu!!

Hukilau is consistently our favorite restaurant on the island. We’ve been here on our last three visits and it never disappoints. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are unmatched. My wife had the grilled Wahoo and I had the seared Ahi. We both had the amazing gazpacho. Everything was outstanding! And the Hawaiian Chocolate Factory Lava Cake is not to be missed! This restaurant was fabulous ! Our smith family luau was cancelled that day and we had no where to go as group of 13 and called numerous places for a last night dinner. It was not looking good, but they called us back said they could fit us in ! Great food, service and beautiful ambiance there. The wait staff could not have been better, especially as we had numerous young kids with us. Thank you for a lovely dinner and fitting us in last minute!!

Everything was absolutely delicious. The lobster bisque red curry soup was so good I ordered a second one for dessert. The mixed green salad and gazpacho were good as well. My mom and I ordered the fish dish with three different fish, and the Thai coconutsauce was exceptional. My dad ordered macadamia crusted opah and passion fruit mango sorbet for dessert. The wine we got wasalso a very nice pairing with the meal light and fruity, not too dry or too sweet. My New Old Fashioned was a littledisappointing (I don't think they chill their liquor and the one giant ice cube didn't cool it very quickly), but the Manhattansmy parents ordered were very good.
