"I just found out today that the restaurant has closed, and I'm so sad about it. I really enjoyed going there, the food was great, and the staff were always friendly. I hope they can reopen soon, whether at the same location or somewhere else in the city."

I just found out today that the restaurant has closed. I'm really sad about it. I loved going there for the delicious food and the friendly atmosphere. I hope they can reopen soon, or at least that something similar will pop up in town.

"Nice location, plenty of parking space. Very good buffet bar with numerous selections of food/delicious desserts to choose from. Nice reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes buffet bar. Vegetarian options: Has good selection at salad bar. Dietary restrictions: I'm not a vegetarian, but what I saw l would say a vegetarian would differently enjoy dinning there. Parking: Large parking lot and there's lots of people dining there but even so parking is not a problem. Kid-friendliness: Kids are well taken care of. Waitresses are very helpful in that area. Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible."

"I really didn’t want to give this place such a low rating, especially since the staff was incredibly nice. However, I do want to mention that we didn’t try any sushi. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the food. The edamame had a bit of a crunch to it, and the spring rolls were a bit mushy inside. The gyoza seemed like they had been previously frozen and lacked filling. The other two main dishes were so bland that we didn’t even want to take home leftovers. It seems we were misled by the high ratings in the reviews, and I noticed that the restaurant even gave itself five stars while promoting tea, which definitely skews the ratings."

"During my second visit to Mi Amor's, I brought my sister along and we decided to try their large supreme pizza. Just like my initial visit, the pizza did not disappoint. Both my sister and I agreed that it was the best pizza in the Chocowinity/Washington area and exceeded the average for eastern North Carolina. The staff was once again exceptional, and we even had the chance to chat with one of the owners while waiting for our pizza. Since my last visit, they had added a pool table and mentioned plans to create a game room. The owner recommended trying their cinnamon-flavored wings, which I added to my list of things to try. I am also looking forward to trying their subs in the future. So far, Mi Amor's has proven to be a fantastic discovery!"

"I ordered the Hibachi Any Two with steak and shrimp, served with fried rice, and while it was decent, I found it a bit overpriced for the portion size. The steak was quite chewy, but I did enjoy the crispy spring rolls (3)."

"I visited the restaurant today (January 5, 2021) and I want to commend the woman working there—I can't recall her name—who was multitasking brilliantly. She was bussing tables, taking orders, managing the cash register, and serving customers, all by herself with just the cook assisting her. She truly deserves a raise for her hard work. Unfortunately, Buford's Tree Service left a terrible mess behind, and they could have easily taken care of their own trash, especially considering how hard that woman was working. The cook was also very friendly, and the two cheesesteaks I ordered were fantastic!"
