Another big, old school bar and barbecue that makes things right. Better than standard bar food. Fair prices. We received great service.

Food is hit or miss. I’ve ordered here in the past and it’s been really good but I just ordered wings and they were so salty you couldn’t eat them. Also there’s always a pretty rough crowd here after dark.

The food and service were excellent. I ordered the steak and cheese, while my husband enjoyed the burger, and we both loved our meals. If you're a smoker, you might prefer to take your food to go or sit outside on the terrace.

They have an impressive selection of appetizers, sandwiches, steaks, and various entrees, including oysters, shrimp, and a range of pasta dishes. They also serve a delightful all-day breakfast menu. The ribeye steak I tried was a superb cut, cooked to perfection, and my wife absolutely loved her chicken Philly—it was the best thing she's ever eaten. As for the biscuits and gravy, they tasted just as I had always imagined the perfect Southern biscuits and gravy should taste! The service was fast and incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, as a vegetarian, my options were somewhat limited. If I were vegan, I would have really struggled. I ended up ordering a side salad, as all their duck salad options contained meat. It’s a bit frustrating, as I'm not a vegetarian just to munch on salad—I do enjoy hearty meals! I also tried the onion rings; while they weren’t the best I’ve ever had, they were quite decent. The staff was friendly and attentive once we settled at our table, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant. We were promptly served, with our drink and appetizer orders—fried pickles—being taken right away. The pickles arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. The woman in our party ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich without paprika, along with a side of fries, while I opted for the club sandwich with onion rings. Our food was served in a timely manner, hot, and exactly as we ordered.
