You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. I highly recommend trying any flavor with the oatmeal topping, as well as the taro milk shave ice.

Miss the sweet ladies who used to work there. You won't be met with a smile now, but at least the shaved ice is the same. Prices have gone way up tho. Hoping by now they show the prices on the menu/poster, because they only listed the prices of the toppings. Although pricey, #7 always hits the spot!

On our way to Pearl Harbor, we spontaneously searched for shaved ice nearby and discovered this place through its reviews. We're so glad we decided to stop here! I’ve been coming here since I was a child. You can expect to spend around $20 for two people, but it’s definitely worth it. The portions are quite filling. Be sure to try the flan! There are some tables tucked away in the corners near Koa House. Ice Garden has become a family favorite, so much so that we always make it a stop for visiting relatives.

Been going here for years! Two sweet ladies used to run the place, and we'd sit inside and there would always be a crowd. It's our first time back since before COVID, and it looks like one of their sons took over. There's no inside service now, just through the window, but the shave ice is as good as ever. Parking can get a little iffy, especially with the McDonald's drive thru right there, but still worth it!

I really appreciate the variety of topping options they offer, which go beyond just sugary syrups, such as oatmeal, taro, and custard. I'm so glad they made it through the pandemic, as they were a beloved spot of mine ten years ago. While they've raised their prices quite a bit, I believe the value remains excellent. During our visit in August 2023, they stayed open until closing time, which is a nice change since they used to close early. I also like that they are now using biodegradable dishes. I hadn't visited this place in years, but I was delighted to find that they are still operating! Although it's no longer managed by the lovely elderly women who ran the shave ice shop for so long, the menu remains largely the same—with a few new items—and the shave ice is just as delicious! It's conveniently located near McDonald's, and there's plenty of parking available. When you're ready to place your order, just go up to the outside window, as they no longer have an indoor entrance to the shop. I highly recommend adding some toppings to your shave ice—my favorites are the pudding and mochi balls!

When I was younger, my tutu and older brother would come here to get the taro shave ice. At the time, I thought the idea of taro on shave ice sounded absolutely weird, since I only associated taro with poi which I don't like becuase I'm a bad Hawaiian.
