"Food: The table-side guacamole was a highlight, allowing us to customize it to our preferences and dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, the chips seemed to be store-bought, which detracted from the overall flavor experience. Homemade chips would have significantly elevated the dish. Service: Our server was polite but seemed to lack knowledge about the ingredients and preparation of the dishes. At times, it felt like we were testing his patience. Atmosphere: The noise level increased as the evening progressed, making it difficult to have a conversation."

"I ordered a Grilled Chicken Club with guacamole spread and a side of chili cheese fries. The chili on the fries was overly sweet, and the meat had a mushy texture, reminiscent of Manwich or Sloppy Joe. The sandwich itself was just okay—lacking in flavor—while the guacamole spread tasted bitter and was starting to turn gray. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the meal due to the taste. On a positive note, the packaging was good, and nothing spilled."

"Osteria fusoli It's been over 10 years since I first visited and always longed to return, hoping it would stay true to its roots. Happy to report all is as I remembered it to be as they celebrate 20 years in business. A true trattoria experience with an elegant atmosphere at a reasonable price. It's the only Italian restaurant I'd recommend in the entire Yolo county. My appetizer polenta con piselli was excellent. Grilled polenta cakes topped with melted buffalo mozzarella, peas, and pickled lemon. They offer an incredible selection of other appetizers plus fresh soups and salads. This evening's entree was il pesce del giorno. A pan seared sea bass with roasted fennel, fresh herbs, beurre blanc and tomato. Outstanding and delicate. The dessert menu didn't really wow me, so I asked them to make an affogato which is always a pleasure. Beer and wine only, no liquor so no aperitif or digestif here. This is my only gripe. Elegant atmosphere without being too stuffy. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Service was excellent and professional. Thanks Mateo."

"I usually go for the "Over Rice" dish, which includes your choice of tofu or meat paired with vegetables for just $4.95; shrimp is available for a dollar more, plus tax. The food is consistently fresh. I typically grab a fountain drink from their self-service station, just like at fast food restaurants, and I still leave under $10. The restaurant caters to UC Davis students and others by staying open late—midnight from Sunday to Wednesday and until 3 AM from Thursday to Saturday. The owner and staff have always been friendly and helpful. Plus, they offer free Wi-Fi and several flat-screen TVs that usually show sporting events. Even on busy nights, I can often find parking right outside, as many students prefer to bike, walk, or take cabs. I actually met one of my best friends at Open Rice, as we affectionately call it. It has a social vibe, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Yolo County area."

"I just recently went for my 51rst birthday. I chose this location because of a special moment and meal I shared there a year ago with my granddaughter and niece... so I decided, I wanted to share the moment experience with the rest of my family. I must say I left disappointed..The environment was still very warm and cozy, the food was good but a tad bland on some dishes, the service for us was not a good experience. In fact she was asked to bring my b day ice cream when I are entire group was present and brought it when only 3 of is where at the table. Our drinks were barely refilled, we had to ask, we had to prebus our own table and move dirty plates to the end. We still tipped but had she gave us a dining out experience she would of tripled her money. There were only 8 of us and I expected more. In a declining economy family's I know don't get to go out much and the hospitality goes so far. Moving forward this will not be a place I recommend for now"
