"We really enjoy the food and like sitting at the bar, but we've had to look for other options because of a strong smell of stale beer at the bar. Although we noticed it during our previous visits, it has become so intense that it's no longer bearable. Recently, we were informed that they are addressing the issue, so we hope to be able to come back soon. It would also be beneficial if they offered drink specials to attract more customers, especially since there are several other Mexican restaurants nearby."

"For my main course, I chose the chicken enchiladas, and I was thoroughly impressed. "We stopped in for lunch to, we haven’t been here in years and we’re passing through the area. So glad we stopped in, it was just as nice as I remembered. From the greeting as we walked in to the acknowledgment as we left we were thoroughly pleased. I had the Ooh La La and my wife had the spicy chicken. The servings were big enough that we could have bought just one and shared it. I loved the flavors of my entree, I opted for the shrimp, oyster and crawfish. For desert we had the bowl portion of bread pudding, it was plenty big for two people. It had a lot of sauce, maybe too much, if there is such a thing. Our server was top notch! She checked on us at just the right times, I couldn’t have asked for a better server! Can’t wait until our next visit."

"Just getting over the worst food poisoning of my life from a pizza I ate here. Out of work for three days. Fever, violent vomiting (and other end), dehydration, complete loss of energy and strength, awful, lasting headaches. Shaking on the bathroom floor- couldn’t get up kind of food poisoning. Ate the pesto pizza. Ordered around 5 something pm on 7/25/23. Three days later I am still recovering. To top that off nobody really even spoke to me during the order and pickup. The guy dropped my pizza on the table and just walked away. Probably would have come back had it not been for the violent illness- but yeahnever again."

"This was our first time coming here after several recommendations. We were told to make a reservation or there would be a long wait. I called the day before to make a reservation but got the voicemail, which explains to leave your reservation info and you’d get a call or text back to confirm. We didn’t receive a call back until a few hours before our reservation time the day of, in which they said there was nothing available so they put us down for a half hour later. I asked if there was anything earlier and they said they could put us down on a “call ahead” list so we wouldn’t have a long wait. When we arrived, I explained we were on the call ahead list and we ended up sitting down at the time I tried to make the initial reservation. This process just seemed more complicated than it had to be. Once seated, we looked over the menu and I have to say that the prices seemed very reasonable for a well-rated seafood restaurant. There were several interesting cocktails on the menu that had no description. When I asked the waiter, he sort of fumbled around and said he didn’t know what they were and took guesses. I played it safe and got wine instead Now, for the food! We had to try the Caesar salad, which was great (loved the dressing). I got the trout with corn and Parmesan fries. The whole dish was great, and I can see why the parm fries are such a popular choice. My wife got the grouper with creamed spinach and green beans. A few overall comments: sides portions are generous, and so are the wine pours! These two things just add to the value I had already perceived from the menu. We loved the vibe of the place. It has tall ceilings with lots of windows for lots of light. In the end, we really enjoyed the experience. Vegetarian options: No main courses for you. Plenty of generous sides and apps that are great. Any experienced vegetarian is used to this kind of thing, and you can still have a great experience. Kid-friendliness: We have kids but didn’t bring them to our first visit. There were a few groups with toddlers present. The atmosphere is fine for kids, but there really aren’t any food options I can imagine them enjoying. Parking: This is a small plaza, and we found a parking spot pretty easily at 5:30pm, but I can imagine this can get filled up very easily when the place is in full swing."
