I was just visiting GA from SC. Food was very flavorful fresh.I had Curry Goat plate . Some of the freshest rice and beans I’ve ever had. Everything was great. The spices were on point.Food: 5/5

Wayyy overpriced!! Ordered the spicy shrimp w/double mac as my side. The shrimp was decent, and the mac.. was dry and no cheese also no flavor at all. Only got 8 little pieces of shrimp. You better off getting your Mac from chicfile to be honest.Food: 2/5

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and what an experience it was! I ordered the oxtails, rice and peas, collard greens, and a Jamaican grape soda, and I’m not sure I even had the chance to chew my food, haha. The restaurant has been consistently open and transparent about their hours. If Google indicates that they are open from 12 PM to 6 PM, you can count on them being there, ready to serve, with the food prepared. I’ve found that I can place my order and receive my meal in under 10-12 minutes. I particularly enjoy the J Chicken, Rice and Peas, Cabbage, and Plantains. I will definitely return! Food: 5/5

Today was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I got curry goat with rice and peas, cabbage with a side of plantain and Mac and cheese. Also wanted to sample j chicken and requested no sides. The portions were generous. And the food was so flavorful and delicious. Only thing that upset me was I ordered a small lemonade and should have definitely got a large. Highly recommend. I will definitely be back!

The staff was quite unfriendly during our visit. They used to provide excellent customer service, which is disappointing to see change. The oxtails have been tough on our last few visits, and when we ordered a large portion, it definitely didn't seem like we received a full serving. They also forgot to include the plantains on all three plates without any explanation. Overall, the experience just isn't what it used to be. We tried a few times before deciding to give up. I got a small j plate with mac and collard greens. I drove UE and I always pick up here and so I decided to try it out. The j chicken was so flavorful and tender. 10 outta 10. Mac was on point 9 outta 10. I normally put hot sauce on my collards no matter what. These collards were so good I just enjoyed eating them alone. Solid 15 outta 10. At first I was eating and thought the small plate was plenty cause I usually don 't eat a lot at once. Everything was so good, toward the end of it I was next time I gotta get a large plate. Spent $32 for a fresh made to order fried snapper, with an extra side of mac. Waited over 35mins for my fresh food. Well, NOTHING was fresh (including the fish that looked like it was fried in old used grease)and no mac available which I wasn’t told until my food was done and I paid. They offered a pattie as a substitute, that was dry and cold. Major disappointment as I’ve supported this establishment many times. I know some days may be busier then others but when you’re spending this type of money it’s very irritating and you want what you pay for! My husband went there tonight to grab some curry goat for dinner. We didn’t want rice because I made some. When he came home I heard how upset he was and I went to the kitchen and lifted the Togo container all I could do was laugh. They basically made him pay 19.00 for a medium serving in a LARGE container. When he called the restaurant and complained about it, they basically said that’s how they sell their portions. Look we are from the Islands, and also grew up in Miami so we know about GOOD food from either Jamaica or Haiti which is where we are from.
