Wednesday night game night.The place was full after 9 pm.Good food, cold beer, multitude of shots available.Everyone was friendly and in a great mood.

The atmosphere here is vibrant and lively. It's a bit different from what I'm used to, but it was filled with lots of young college students. The live music added a nice touch, and the bartenders were exceptionally friendly. Shoutout to Chris—he really stood out!

Stopped on for dinner late night beverages and a snack after the Bruce concert (our hotel was a block away). They had a great selection of alcohols and beers, lots of top shelf booze. Came here hoping for food after landing in Ybor City. Unfortunately we just missed the kitchen but they had a great selection of beers and that was enough this night. Our server was excellent, with great suggestions. They also indulged us past their closing time and didn't rush us out. Had a good time here and would come back again.

I was in the mood for some Irish cuisine and initially had my eyes set on the shepherd's pie. However, once I spotted the filet mignon and crab legs, my priorities shifted! The filet was cooked to perfection, and the crab was incredibly fresh. I can't wait to go back—not just for the filet, but now I have to try that shepherd’s pie too!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. They offer an impressive selection of beers. While the Scotch egg wasn't my favorite, I really enjoyed the curry ketchup that accompanied it. The fish and chips were good, but the standout of the night was our bartender/server, who delivered exceptional service. I would definitely come back just for him! The music was also fantastic. You don't really need reservations at this place since it's a casual sit-where-you-want kind of spot. I felt a bit confused and embarrassed when I walked in and asked the bartender what the situation was. However, the food was outstanding, with a huge selection of beers. The server was adorable (a cute guy), and I just wanted to tuck him away in my pocket and take him home. I’m giving it less than five stars only because it’s not really a reservation-type restaurant, but the food exceeded my expectations. My husband wanted me to mention that they didn’t have potato soup—what kind of Irish pub doesn’t have potato soup? Ha! But he still loved his dinner.

Since moving to Ybor, JJ has quickly become my favorite spot for a great time! The moment I stepped in to sample their food and beer, Brandon greeted me with the warmest service. He even shared some tips on the best local highlights, which was especially helpful since we were new to the area. I've always had a soft spot for Irish pubs, particularly those housed in older, dimly-lit buildings like JJ. The wings here are a must-try, and the tater tots are just incredible!
