Employees are very kind ! Someone always asking how everything is and if you need anything. . Very clean. A little pricey but enjoyed the Chicken and there dipping sauces and a huge fan of there sweet tea and cole slaw.

From the ribs to the gizzards and mash potatoes chicken tenderloins nuggets this place is freaking good and soooooo tasty. Me and my wife 1st time coming here and it did NOT disappoint us at all. Recommend to any one in the midwest city -choctow area. Got get you some and see what im talking about.

Good chicken. We bought the 'Chicken Coop ' family pack. There was enough chicken for 8 people, enough sides for 6 people, but only enough gravy for one person. The chicken was crispy and yummy. Ordered by DoorDash. Order was accepted. When the food arrived it was AWFUL!!!!! Thins were tough, the supposed to be chopped brisket was pooled pork, and all the sides were out so they pured a bunch of leftover burnt dryers out okra in instead. I don’t even like okra!! Not a good first impression. But will be the last impression as well!!! If I could I would have given no stars.

This charming little chicken restaurant, owned by the Swadley family, is situated in Nicoma Park. We ordered sides of mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, along with a three-piece chicken meal. The food was tasty, but the service was exceptional! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They had some tempting chocolate and strawberry cake that looked delicious; however, we didn't indulge this time—maybe next visit!

First of all, an apology to my readers.  I got off track with my restaurant reviews a year and a half ago.  Since then, Urbanspoon was eaten by Zomato, and I think I have been to over 100 new restaurants in that time, some of them very good and worthy of a review.  I will try to get to those over the next couple months.  Regardless, I will do a better job of keeping up with new places in the meantime.  This is the start of that effort. We've returned multiple times since the renovations, and the 'new' Jim's, now owned by the Swadleys, is even better than before. The chicken is cooked to perfection, with larger portions, and the addition of several new sides is impressive. The expanded indoor seating area is very pleasant. I truly hope this place remains in business for many years to come. Our family of four typically spends around $50, and we almost always end up bringing food home. It's fantastic!

I visited the drive-thru for this review, which is not my usual choice, but I was pressed for time. I ordered a dark chicken dinner along with a pecan pie. The wait was quick, and my order was accurate. The chicken was tasty, featuring a crispy crust and plenty of juiciness. The sides—coleslaw and mashed potatoes with gravy—were both flavorful and enjoyable. The pecan pie, rich and sweet, was a delightful finish. While the overall meal was good, it didn't particularly stand out compared to other chicken spots. I felt the price was slightly high for what I received, but it wasn't enough to disappoint me. I understand it is Christmas eve...Just got off work and seen a lot of cars in the parking ..so I drove in for DT....went to the speakers....no answer....no notification of time closing on the DT screen ...pulled around to the window and seen a lot of ppl moving around inside filling bags....so I waited a few min...looking at the ppl who seen me...but were too busy filling bags ...no notification on the window either....So I am sitting there....wondering what kind of ppl they are seeing a customer and ignoring him...and trying to get someone's attention...till finally a young lady came to the window to tell me while smirking ..we are close....we closed at 3pm...ok...I was a few min too late...
