"As a person with Celiac, I ordered penne Ala vodka with gluten free pasta. After I paid for my meal they decided to inform me there was flour in the vodka sauce. I asked for a refund on the meal since I cannot eat that.They offered to make another meal, but after telling me all their sauce has flour in it, that was unreasonable nor did I wish to wait while my family's other food got cold. I asked for a refund on the pasta, they offered a gift card instead. Since I am in the area only on vacation, this didn't help either. I asked again for a refund and was told they couldn't refund a credit card, I'd have to get on the phone with the credit card company. How does one own a business and not know how to do such a transaction?Anyone with gluten issues beware because this establishment is ignorant of these issues and beyond unprofessional as they made it seem that I was unreasonable. Dietary restrictions: They have no clue how to accommodate restrictions. Beware!"

I catered my mom's 90th birthday, and everything was fantastic! The food arrived on time, and everything was delicious. The cavatelli and broccoli were especially superb!

This is always MY SPOT. The best tomato pies in the state in my opinion. It always tastes the same unlike other pizza places where it's different every time. The thin crust is to die for, and I want to get lost in the sauce. 11 out of 10

"The food service at this restaurant was excellent! We began with the Grilled hearts of romaine, which was a meal in itself. The combination of sundried tomatoes and candied walnuts was delicious. The Diver scallops over risotto were cooked perfectly, and the Ahi Tuna with soba noodles was a treat. With so many delicious options on the menu, it can be hard to decide on just one dinner selection!"

"I have to be honest: while staying at Point Pleasant Beach with my family, they headed out to the Boardwalk for a meal. Meanwhile, I was sticking to a strict diet of protein and vegetables, which made it challenging to find something to eat in the area. While at the hotel, I discovered this restaurant on DoorDash. I thought I’d give it a try, so I customized my own salad, adding some chicken, avocado, and other acceptable ingredients, and chose a Sriracha dressing. The total came to about $17 with tax, and I expected a small serving since it's beachside and prices tend to be inflated. To my surprise, the salad was quite large and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve been around since the early 80s! It was an excellent salad for an excellent price. If I could give this place a score of 10, I would, but unfortunately, I can only select five stars."

"My family and I love JL?s food! It?s always fresh and delicious. We love that they offer a slew of food varieties and gluten free options. They also have tasty deserts, dressings, cheese and so much more. We love the atmosphere and are so happy theyopened a new location closer to us in Manasquan. Everyone who works at each location are always so friendly, welcoming and seemto be happy employees. Shout out to Jim and Amanda for offering a cookie to our lil one who scarfed it down which made ourshopping experience a lot better. Thank you again!"

"Good is consistently good. That is not what my review is about. We've been eating here for over 7 years. When pandemic hit it turned into a take out regular. When help was hard to find the service was very slow. One night we saw several parties walk out before their dinner was served and we felt bad for the workers who were trying their hardest. Went at 5:30 this past Sunday. We sat until 7:30 waiting for food and finally said let's take it home. It looked like there were plenty of workers. Our server was excellent. That table could have turned over 3 times but instead they left patrons sitting for hours while the lines of take out patrons continued throughout the night. Either you're a dine in or a take out, especially on the week ends. The owner had to decide where his bread and butter comes from because in a kitchen that small it should be only one. I don't think we'll be returning anytime soon. There's other restaurants with just as good food and better service. Again our waiter was terrific. He was trying his best."
