"My husband and I decided to eat somewhere that we have not been to before. We decided on Iron Fish. We never even knew it was right here in Pflugerville in the same plaza as HEB. It is quite small but intimate. It would be helpful to have a reservation. We didn't, but they had two available spots at the sushi bar. I was only willing to take them since their bar stools had a bigger seat than normal ones. (My bottom and short thighs happen to be big which tends to be very uncomfortable on normal thin bar seats.)The servers were all very friendly. Every dish that we saw was displayed in a gorgeous array. We ordered things that we don't normally eat, and every bite was good. This will NOT be our only time dining here. It was good. Also, I liked the jazzy music that they had playing in the background.Parking: Parking is in the HEB plaza, but far enough away to have plenty of parking at any given time."

"I have been to many middle eastern restaurants having lived in SoCal for more than a decade, hands down this place has the best beef shawarma ever. Though the sitting area is small due to the shop size, one can still dine in for a casual and delicious meal out with the kiddos. We have tried both dining in and delivery. Both were perfection of taste, presentation, and freshness. The portions are generous. Chicken and beef shawarma are so tasty (well marinated). Salads, rice, appetizers all yummy. Flafel is fresh not like other places that use packaged powder Flafel. As a native Arab, I know the difference. One recommendation though is to make the piece smaller and add more water to the dough before frying but that all comes down to personal preference for the texture. Taste-wise, the best falafel in town. New staff/owner are friendly, welcoming, and highly responsive. Keep up the great work guys!"

"My experiences here has sadly declined since COVID restrictions were lifted. Prices increase are understandable and something that didn 't deter me from supporting my local business. It was unfortunately the overall environment and portions changes. Phoneline is rarely usable and if answered very rushed and cut off. Quality decreased as toppings were missing, potatoes were hard/undercooked, and food would be dripping in the bag. I let many situations slide as it was minor in the moment and not worth stopping my support for the family business. My family were HUGE fans of the breakfast burritos as they were so big and filling. Anyone we showed the burrito dish too has come back to ask us where to order, or bring some extras if we were visiting them out of town. The last incident was unfortunately too sloppy to go out of my way to come again. Ordered a few burritos for my trip to Houston for me and my HTX relatives. Called in and came in to pick up: noticed a NO REFUND/RETURNS sign that said to check your food for mistakes before leaving. Thought it was odd until I left and took the food out (my fault). The initial burrito sizes were so large, two are usually stuffed in a bag. The two I got were equivalent to the size of one previous burrito.....$6.50 for a burrito nearly half the width of my hand. Unaccceptable, next the potatoes were crunchy, eggs were dry, and they missed the sausage entirely. Filling to wrap was sad as well as it was 60% tortilla. We are likely not to never return but take a long break and hope things improve before we come back."

"My wife and I stopped in here for a Saturday morning breakfast. Parking is adequate. You place your order at the counter in the front of the business. Then you seat yourself and they bring you your food when it is ready. Prices are very reasonable, the most expensive breakfast is still less than $9. My wife particularly enjoyed her chicken fried steak breakfast with a very tender steak. It comes with 2 eggs and hashbrowns, plus she had biscuit and gravy instead of toast. She sang it's praises as fork-tender. I had french toast, good but not exceptional. Service was attentive, my coffee was topped off consistently. Facility is clean and offers a drive thru and patio dining. Hours are split...breakfast/lunch followed with a 2 hour closed interval then dinner service. For a nice local venue with very attractive pricing and quality food, this is a good bet for you."

"The staff at this restaurant sets the standard for what every dining establishment should aspire to achieve. They are incredibly friendly and clearly take pride in their work; I was thoroughly impressed! As for the chicken? Wow. We didn’t even get to it until after our baby had gone to bed—about two hours later—and it was still tender and juicy! How is that possible? The marinade or glaze is simply amazing. We couldn’t finish it all, so we saved the leftovers for today, and even the day-old chicken reheated beautifully and tasted fantastic. For sides, we opted for Yucca Fries and Black Beans. The amount of flavor packed into these simple dishes really astounded me. Seriously, just go for their chicken, add the black beans and some rice—you won’t regret it! The only downside? I wasn’t a fan of the sauces. I’m not deducting any points because you really don’t need a condiment to enjoy the food. We tried the Aji Amarillo and Aji Rocoto, both of which contained too much mayonnaise. As a fan of Peruvian cuisine, I was excited to taste the sauces, but they ended up tasting primarily like mayo with just a hint of spice. Trust me, the food stands perfectly on its own without any sauce."
