"The food itself was excellent, and the outdoor seating provided a lovely view. However, the tables were all sticky and gave off a feeling of uncleanliness. While we were still eating outside, one of the staff members requested to take the ketchup away, even though I wasn't finished with it. She had also started putting away napkins and the salt and pepper shakers. If the restaurant is open until 8 PM, they should be serving customers until that time, which means avoiding tidying up too early. They had emptied the trash and even asked us not to use the outdoor trash bin, and they weren’t very polite about it. Even though it was a Wednesday evening, that shouldn't change their approach. Cleaning up should really begin only after all customers have left. It felt quite rude and disrespectful, as they seemed to be rushing us to finish our meals and leave, even with five other families still present in the restaurant."

"We got there as soon as it opened and we're greeted and sat down promptly. The server was terrific, very polite and knowledgeable and the food came out hot and fresh. This was our 1st time there and I was surprised at how good the food really was . My wife got the fettuccine dinner with a salad rolls and the bread was some of the best I've ever had. My daughter got the chicken sandwich with bacon and it was phenomenal . I went for the BLT and it was one of the best I've ever had .I would go back in a heartbeat."

"We made a special trip just to eat at the Tin Goose Diner! We had visited the Aviation Museum earlier in the week, but the diner was not open then. Unfortunately the diner has limited hours and is not open every day. So we came back. The service wasfantastic and the good was very good! I had my doubts since it is attached to a museum. But the food quality wasexcellent! The food items all have either a local aviation or a military meaning. There is a brochure on the table that explainsthe meaning behind every item. The view outside your window (every table is a window seat) is great! You get to watch planestake off and land on the runways. Definitely not something you at every restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal and glad we madethe trip back. There are many positive reviews and now I know why!"

"This place is fantastic! Even though things are much calmer now due to the ongoing health emergency, I can confidently say that this is the perfect spot to be on a warm summer day. We ordered the Walleye Sandwich and a pack of fish (similar to mahi-mahi) with fries and tortilla chips. Both dishes were incredibly delicious and fresh. The frozen drinks were also excellent, making them perfect for enjoying on the beach right in front of the restaurant."

"I participated in a wine tasting on November 14, 2018, and it was a wonderful experience! Kevin set up four stations, each showcasing a perfect wine pairing for the courses we enjoyed. We had flatbread pizza, seafood pasta, beef tips, and finished with a delightful chocolate truffle for dessert. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays, which added to the festive atmosphere. 1812 truly excels in customer service, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for your next dining experience or special event."
