"I stop here every time I’m going to and from NYC. The owner is super friendly and the food is better. They were super careful with my COVID era takeout today to the point I was so impressed in that it felt super safe even relative to the NYC precautions. Try the pilaf and the meatballs and the bread is to die for. Authentic food and people. Need more places like this on the open road. PS I can’t wait until the magical dining room opens it feels like you’re entering an alternative reality in that space it’s special"

This restaurant is truly amazing and welcoming, with food so delicious that I won’t eat anywhere else along I-80. If you pass them by, you’re really missing out! I can't wait to visit again!

Nice place with very warm hospitality. Love their traditional soups, especially borsch. Always fresh and tasty. If you want to have a delicious homemade food, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

I decided to check out this restaurant after hearing about it from another app, and I'm so glad I did! The food was fantastic! Additionally, the customer service was excellent and truly topped off my experience. I received plenty of information about any menu item I had questions about. There is also ample parking available for both cars and trucks.

Delicious food right off I-80. So much better than any rest stop food you’ll find. We got a Greek salad, the khachapuri (cheesy bread boat), the lamb kabobs, and the lamb soup. All was delicious. Our car wouldn’t start after we finished eating in the lot and the owner/manager helped us find someone to charge our car battery! Thank you Kavkaz restaurant!

We enjoyed some excellent Uzbek cuisine from the 80s. My partner and I ordered shashlik, lamb soup, a Greek salad (which we saved for later), and khachapuri (which we also saved). Everything was delicious and made for a perfect stop after a long drive. There is plenty of parking available and a few picnic tables outside for dining al fresco.
