"WOW! What a wonderful place. The food is amazing. However, more importantly, the people are so kind and wonderful. I stopped by one evening in the middle of an 800-mile drive. I wanted some nourishing food. As a vegan, finding such an option on a road trip can be a challenge. I found The Falafel Shack via the Happy Cow app. The food was AMAZING. After I had paid for my order, when they heard that I was passing through, they made me a falafel wrap to go so I would have something nice to eat during the rest of my drive. And they didn't charge me for it. Not one cent. I was so, so touched by this gesture. And so thankful that I decided to stop here! Anyone and everyone should stop by The Falafel Shack when they are in Chambersburg!"

"Amazing dining experience! Very glad we made reservations Friday nights are BUSY. As others have mentioned the service is stellar; everyone that works here is straight up delightful. Service is speedy and the atmosphere is nice and bright and clean. Every single meal that I saw while there looked incredibly tasty. The vegetable gyoza are the best I’ve had in my life. Flavorful contents, perfectly crisp on one side, and paired with a tangy sauce that compliments them oh so well. Also you could drown me in their peanut sauce it’s so good I would thank you for your service. Sushi is all top notch and reasonably priced, there’s even an option to create your own roll! Mochi is absolutely out of this world. We had strawberry and mango second to none. Such a smooth texture, not sticky, and a real explosion of flavors. We will absolutely be back to this gem of a restaurant! Vegetarian options: Tofu is heavenly cooked perfectly!! Try it in the Thai basil fried rice you will not regret it."

"This was my first time dining at this restaurant and I was impressed with the menu. My wife and I shared a delicious Strawberry Spinach salad, which we both enjoyed. She ordered the Baja fish tacos and I opted for the Adobo BBQ carnitas pizza. Both dishes were fantastic choices and we were both satisfied with our meals. The 10-inch pizza was priced at around $14."

"DISCLAIMER I don’t ever send food back, I would rather tough it out but having only taken one bite from 3 out of the 4 things we ordered I felt I should advocate for myself. The food is bad, unseasoned, and bland. We ordered 2 dinner burrito combos, side of beans, Guac, piña colada, and horchata. Nothing tasted fresh, had no seasoning, not even salt, chips were oily, Guac was bland and only tasted of onion, no spice at all. When we kindly sent 1 dinner back saying how we didn’t want to complain but couldn’t eat half of our food our server left the room and didn’t come out till we left. The host addressed us 30 minutes after our waitress left. He claimed we ate more than half the meal when there was one bite taken from each plate. We exaplained why we didn’t like it and he kept trying to make us pay for the food we didn’t eat. Photo proof: Though I liked the drinks, 1 of the burritos that was drowned in cheese, and the atmosphere, the service and the food made it so I won’t step foot in there again."

"I don’t like to give a 1 Star since even I typically chalk it up to a picky customer but an exception needs to be made. So many thing wrong with my lunch there yesterday I will just list them to keep this shorter. They were pretty busy but those are the times a business must be at their best and ensure customers understand and are treated fairly. 1. 4 customers who arrived 10 minutes after me had their food orders taken and served before me and I had already waited 12 minutes prior to their arrival. 2. Only 1 waitress on duty who when I said I know your busy but it’s best to at least serve your customers in order of their arrival since that is something we can all understand and except to some degree. When I said that she stormed off and never returned (it was after I had my sandwich and was asking for a water) 3. Ruben Sandwich was terrible 4. Chips came with it and it looked like it was the bottom of the bag. You know where you need a spoon to try to eat them. Literally 80% of them were smaller than a pencil eraser. 5. Upon checkout I was asked how was my sandwich by the manager/owner (not sure) to which I replied marginal at best and the chips needed to be eaten with a spoon (I didn’t have one and would not have done that anyway) she deflected by saying “we’re really busy”. Did not address the poor food or not being capable to serve in order of arrival which is important for a downtown lunch time experience when your on the clock. Stay away from this place that didn’t want to hear customer feed back delivered in a polite calm manner. Poor service and crappy food equals a failure in the food industry. Other option in downtown Chambersburg."
