"I was quite disappointed when I received my bill. I had decided not to order a drink, and the server recommended two sides, which I assumed would be priced similarly to a meal with a drink. Additionally, when I ordered a second dish, the price differed from what was advertised on the marquee. It turned out that the marquee displayed the price for the chicken, one side, and a drink, rather than just for the meal itself. Despite my specific request for the meal, the server failed to inform me that the price would be different from what was shown. This miscommunication ended up costing me nearly $5 more than I anticipated. If he had just explained the price difference, I wouldn’t have ordered the way I did, as I was relying on the marquee’s pricing. Furthermore, it's essential to have someone taking orders who speaks clear English and at a pace that's easy for the average person to understand."

So I got the wrong order in the Drive-Thru after pulling forward I went back in. And they apologized and gave me another bag. Once I got in my car to pull away I noticed that they still shorted me part of my order. Guess I am thinking it shouldn't takethree tries to get a bucket of chicken, a few chicken strips, and two side orders LOL

I visited the drive-thru and ordered an 8-piece family pack, but I was informed they were out of coleslaw. When I got home and opened the chicken, I found that the 8 pieces included just 1 breast, 3 thighs, and 2 legs. That’s not really 8 pieces! I was very disappointed, especially after driving 30 miles in anticipation of a complete and satisfying dinner.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant and wouldn’t even give it a single star. The lobby was dirty, and it took almost five minutes for someone to come to the counter to take my order. The woman who assisted me was rude, had a poor attitude, and even threw my money back at me. Stopped at this restaurant at approximately 4 PM in the afternoon. It was not very busy and there weren?t a ton of cars in the drive-through but myself and another customer Still at the counter waiting for service. We couldn?t get anybody?s attention.Pretty hard to sell your product when you ignore potential customers. I eventually just walked out. As a secondary note theplace is a pit. The lawn is full of garbage the bathroom had used toilet paper balled up and covered in urine in the corner.Probably saved myself a nasty stomach ache by leaving this place.

"I recently visited Mons in the City and had a fantastic experience. The entire team of employees are huge Royals fans, which is great to see. They were some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in the restaurant industry. The portion sizes were generous – my friend Aaron even needed a to-go box. Our server, Teresa, was amazing and the owner, who we believe was the woman sitting opposite us, was very nice and engaging. I loved the BBQ sauce so much that I bought some to take home and improve my cooking skills. If you're looking for a great BBQ joint with friendly staff, this is the place to go. I highly recommend Mons in the City and will definitely be returning in the future. If you ever make it to Wisconsin Dells, be sure to visit and mention my name for excellent service."

"We were in town for a two night stay. We had looked at the reviews of the restaurants in this small town before the trip. We selected this restaurant as the one we wanted to visit on our wedding anniversary which the little trip was celebrating. We drove by the place early in the day and were not impressed by the downtown storefront with a simple sign over the door. It just looked like it may not even be open or in business anymore. But later in the day we went by to check and see if I could get inside with my power wheelchair. My wife went in and talked to a very friendly server that answered our questions. And when my wife came back out she said it looked great to her. We had an awesome anniversary celebration meal thanks to the friendly and helpful people. It was packed with locals on a Wednesday evening with people coming in to pick up carryout as well all evening long. GREAT"

"I ordered a cheeseburger with everything on it. The cheese was so thin that it was almost transparent and only half the size of a normal slice. When I inquired about the missing onion, I was informed that a single slice would cost me an extra dollar. At every other place I go, onions are included at no extra charge. Really? An extra dollar for an onion? Give me a break! Treating customers this way is a surefire way to drive them away and ultimately end up losing business."

"We had a great experience at this restaurant in Cameron. It was conveniently located near our home. The food was fresh and the manager, Maddie, was incredibly nice. She went out of her way to help us and we cannot praise her enough. We would definitely not hesitate to dine here again!"

"Omgosh boys! We had an appointment in Cameron, Missouri and arrived in the city for an hour. We had lunch in Robyn’s on E 3rd Street. I love the look and donation of the obviously very old building. The service was fast and friendly, but the fondue! I had the (fried) chicken sandwich and pommes, my daughter a burger and pommes and we shared fried pickles. Ahh-mazing. Really, really, very good, perfectly prepared and served hot. I'm sure I'll come back here when I'm in the area. That's not very often, but all the time until then I'll dream of trying the tender.
