"I visit Kips several times a year and love the place! However, this time we had the worst waitress ever. We were given a Happy Hour menu, asked about a few items, and then when we tried to order, she said Happy Hour was over and those items were not available on the regular menu. My friend ordered a glass of house wine and was charged $19 when the bill came. The waitress had given her a specialty wine for $15 and assumed she would want the larger glass, which was $4 more. When we questioned the absurd bill, she was extremely rude. Although I still love Kips, this was the worst waitress experience I have ever had!"

Our server was very attentive and pleasant. We were there with 6 people and most of us had the Fish 'n Chips which were excellent. One person ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and was disappointed with the toughness of the chicken. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere and dinner.

I am a very selective eater and a particular cocktail drinker. Despite being wary of the reviews, I decided to give this place a try and I am so glad I did. I have dined here for the past two evenings and the blackened salmon salad and sweet potato fries were delicious yesterday. Today, the steak salad and shoe string fries were amazing. The Kip Old Fashioned with a large clear cube was delightful. I highly recommend this place. Tom at the bar was friendly, helpful, and provided fast service. I am relieved that I didn't leave the hotel to eat, as I would have missed out on this hidden gem.
