I came across Kitchen Eighty-Eight while looking for a unique dining experience on Google Maps. The food concept is impressive, and the atmosphere is inviting. I had the tri-tip steak accompanied by mashed potatoes and chimichurri sauce, and it was simply delightful. It reminded me of a cozy homemade meal, served nice and warm. The broccoli was unexpectedly exceptional—who knew broccoli could taste this great? The fried risotto was enjoyable, but I wouldn't consider it essential. We ordered the following: 1. Fried risotto as an appetizer - it was cooked beautifully, and the sauce it was served with had fantastic flavor. 2. Tri-tip dinner - it was perfect! The meat was delicious, and the seasonings were outstanding. The mashed potatoes were fluffy and just right. The beans were a bit charred for my liking, but they still had great flavor. I highly recommend this dish if you eat here. 3. Peri Peri chicken - it was cooked exceptionally well, and my friend was very pleased with his plate. We will definitely be coming back!

My only major drawback was the ambiance; while the food was exceptional, the seating felt very casual, which made it challenging to find a spot to sit. This relaxed atmosphere took a little away from my overall experience. I really dislike holding a warm plate of food with nowhere to sit.
