"My wife and I just tried this restaurant for the first time. A friend had recommended it, and miraculously, we had family available to watch our daughters so we slipped out for a date night. We didn’t know that, though not required, reservations are highly recommended. The host, I regret not catching his name, worked some magic and was able to find us a table though the restaurant was busy. We had driven about 30 minutes to try Kornerstone, and had we gone somewhere else, I think it’s unlikely that we would’ve gone at some other time. Our waitress, Catherine, was phenomenal. She was very friendly, highly attentive, and made great recommendations from the menu. She clearly had several tables but was keeping up with all of them. The restaurant is decorated nice and is a place that guests should dress up a little bit for. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees and everything was wonderful. We were on a date night without the kids, and though the restaurant is dressy casual, definitely appropriate for families and had a good children’s menu for next time. We’ll definitely go back and recommend it to all!"

Absolutely delicious! I first visited in person back in December and have returned many times since. My favorite dish is the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. Highly recommend!

This was my first visit to this charming little spot in Porters Neck. It's tucked away in a shopping strip, and you’d never expect how lovely it is once you step inside.

A great dining experience! The Calamari was fresh and crispy and the Bianca pizza is a great choice if you love white pizza. The bread pudding is sweet and the chocolate lava cake was the best!

Arrived at 6pm, hostess pointed to a table 2 feet in front of the entrance and said it 's this or nothing . We said no thanks and left. Many tables and booths were empty and we understand how reservations work.... however, even when you are busy there is a right and wrong way to handle customers. Why not suggest sitting at the bar? Or maybe let us know when another table may become available? This was rude. We 've dined here before and this was a second chance in my opinion, we will spend our money elsewhere and tell our friends and family to do the same.

This experience was unfortunately a disgrace. I work at the teeters there and I always walk by and see happy customers and the smell is amazing. So I came into the store expecting a 5 star service and we got lower than a one. Our waitress greetied us with smiles and was very accurate...at first. Then I try to let her know that the mussels I ordered had three mussels that weren 't open and she tried to say that, They weren 't dead, they just needed to be steamed nore ... So you served me undercooked mussels? She acted indignant and never returned to the table. I had to ask for the manager with the lady tending bar.
