With just one afternoon in Las Cruces, we had to blindly pick from the top rated Mexican and found La Nueva Casita. Absolutely superb restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service was even better. Truly one of the best places I've eaten in a long time and the prices were a pure bargain for the quality of food. Thanks to Yelp, we decided to give it a try! It was so cute, our waitress was the sweetest girl and the food was delicious! I had the Chile Relleno plate with a green sauce on one and a red sauce on one (per waitress's recommendation). They were both so good, but the red sauce was my favorite. My husband had the Tacos Australia plate and he was only going to eat 1 taco, but they were so good, he ate all 3. Definitely a must try while in Las Cruces!

While I visited the opposite, I knew that this will be a must for me and I did not disappoint it! Believe it hype, because this place served amazing authentic house style new Mexican cuisine! the interieur was very cute and beautiful decorated with a welcoming feeling and the staff was too notch! we went on a Saturday morning around the brunch and had to wait a few minutes, we arrived on time because it was very busy at that time, but that was worth it! I had told the chile omelet and my children had the chorizo and vulture! let them tell them that my daughter had the Borracho beans as side and we could have been happy to eat only because they were tasty!

We stopped to eat at this restaurant after our trip to white sand national park. The staff here is super friendly, warm and welcoming. They did a great job making suggestions on what to get. I really appreciate that especially if ai am at a new place. They offer complimentary chips and salsa! I love when a place does that. Their salsa was chunky and great spice level. We had at least 2 rounds of it lol. I initially ordered chimichanga bandera plate but omg a long hair strand came out of my food. I was so devastated and obviously could not eat it.
