La Gourmandine Bakery

This bakery is definitely one of the top in the city. Their almond croissants are absolutely amazing. Whenever I need cakes for special events, I always turn to them.

I'm from Canada and heard of this place. Needless to say I found their baked goods heavenly. Bought a whole bunch of pastries and croissants to bring back with me. Will have to double my purchases next time

Wow is all I can say about what I just had. We came to Pittsburgh for other things and decided to stop in here on a whim. Probably the best pastries I can ever remember having. Will definitely have to come back again. Visualizza piatti

La Gourmondine is a one stop shop for delicious breads, sandwiches and desserts. The baguette is delectable, with the perfect crust and fluffy interior. Get me in a room with one of their almond croissants, and it will disappear quickly.

I was carving a chocolate croissant and this place was recommended multiple times. And yes it was amazing! Everything looked so yummy. I ended up buying more then just a chocolate croissant and everything was so sooo good. The croissant with the almonds on top is a dream.

Love love love. Takes me back to Europe with the assortment of French pastries. I always wish there were more places like this in the United States. The pastries have great attention to detail and flavor. I wish they had more locations or more weekend hours so I can find time to stop in for a baguette for every other week. Visualizza piatti

This bakery will have you spoiled. The best almond croissant in the country hands down. I’ve had them all. Staff is cute and everything is very straight forward. My only dream is that I could have a late w my pastry. They only have regular coffee which is good but, I need fatty frothy foamy coffee. 5 stars highly recommend. Everything looks perfect.

Very nice and high quality European bakery! Staff were so polite and friendly! It was our first time in Pittsburgh and really enjoyed our stop at La Gourmandine on Butler St to grab their fresh pastry! It’s so unfortunate that they don’t have space to sit and enjoy our coffee and pastry while chatting and watching the passerby! Highly recommend it, though!

Finally got a chance to stop here at this unique find. We really enjoyed our visit. This is not your typical bakery offering tons of sugary cakes and cookies. Our visit took us on exploratory trip showcasing fresh breads, sandwiches, desserts and other baked goods. We selected several options and enjoyed the butterscotch dessert the best! Everything was very light and fluffy with the cream filled items not at all sugary sweet and buttercream heavy however; all still satisfying to the pallet and to your sweet tooth.
