"The Spaghetti Carbonara, which is supposed to be their house specialty, was a disappointment. The pancetta tasted more like greasy, undercooked bacon, and all I could really taste was pepper. I can't believe they call it a specialty; I would recommend avoiding it to save your $20. As for the chicken fingers, the fries were overcooked and almost inedible—crispy on the outside but raw on the inside. This was my first and last time ordering from here. Hopefully, others have a better experience."

There isn't much from New Jersey that we miss since moving to North Carolina, but La Lupa di Roma is definitely one of the top things we long for.

La Lupa Di Roma offers the best Italian food I've ever had. We are never let down; the dishes are always freshly made. The owners personally welcomed us during our first visit. I highly recommend La Lupa Di Roma—the trip to Neptune, New Jersey will be worth it, I assure you!

The garlic knots here are fantastic! The Carbonara is outstanding, and the Tiramisu, sourced from Devine, is a real treat. The garlic knots are so delicious that you'll want to buy a batch and share them with every pizza place you know, showing them what garlic knots should truly taste like.
