"we are here twice now, and both of us have enjoyed the good beer and tasty eating. it is rare to have a brewery that serves both good beer and good food. the restaurant itself is located on the smaller side, but there are sitting opportunities back, and a beautiful size bar inside. the place is decorated with dark woody, Edison flowers and old pictures on the walls, so there is a very hometown bar vibe that I like. my man and I shared an appetizer of buffalo flower bites, and they were delicious! the bite are slightly baked, fried, sat in a buffalo sauce and then served with ranch. they were not over cooked, and the sauce was seasoned well. for lunch I had the garnel and grits and they were in order. nothing bad, but nothing extraordinary. my man had the hot chicken sandwich, and the ding saw and tasted delicious! juicy chicken with a sauce that crawls with the heat on her, and then all that dressed with koleslaw. then we finished our meal with her brotpudding, and my sweet baby jesus was so delicious! it tasted seriously as falling into the mouth. I forgot to mention the beer! Honestly, they are a great choice of beer, and what's nice is that not all ipa! the gilded hammer (I think that was the name), is what I had, and my man had an ipa. the beer is good, and they can also make mixed drinks. overall, definitely glad to see a brewery so close to us! we will definitely be back time and time again!"
