"Updated Review 7/23: I had to update my review from my last visit here. This time was way better! The food was really good and fresh. The service was good and we were seated comfortably. We did not have a great experience last time and I’m happy to say it was completely different this time. I will return again! I am disappointed to say they no longer have curly fries. : The appearance of this diner is appealing, in fact it is huge. They were super busy when we went and there were many “regulars” in there. If it wasn’t for the food, I would have rated it much higher. I ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. The sauce was good but the mozzarella sticks were doughy and not cooked very well. The waitress says that they just started using new mozzarella sticks. I wouldn't get them again. I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and curly fries. First, I rarely come across places that serve curly fries so this was a huge plus for me. The sandwich, however, was greasy and I had to take most of the bacon off because it was undercooked and rubbery. Finally, I ordered a danish and an apple turnover to go. They were both rock hard and had very little flavor. I was disappointed because they advertise a bakery so I thought I would get bakery quality. The one thing I did like is that they had all of the bakery items individually wrapped. I would give the diner one more try but I definitely will not be ordering bakery items. They do have a really large menu, so I can try something new!"

On our way from Philly to Gloucester Premium Outlets we needed so food for shopping energy. We saw Lamp Post Diner and stopped for a bite to eat. The service at this restaurant was excellent and the staff were very accommodating! We surprised two of our closest colleagues and they were extremely helpful. The portions were large and delicious. Our server, Courtney, was amazing, as well as the rest of the staff. I would definitely recommend this place.

The restaurant was both visually appealing and well-maintained. It was bustling by 9:30 in the morning and remained busy. The waitress was attentive and always available when needed. The food was served warm, tasty, and presented beautifully. The bakery items were also quite stunning. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

Amazing Waiter!!! So Sweet and Can Def Say One Of the Best I Have Encountered In A Long Time. He was super busy, but very attentive and honest. Establishment was clean and welcoming. My gf devoured her meal, so safe to say, she would give 5 stars. I would've given 3, but added 1 star because of my date. Unfortunately, my potatoes were undercooked and the avocados were not ripe, but I picked them all out and my meal was yummy. Lol Visualizza piatti

We placed an order for an office luncheon with a rep and mistakenly received something that wasn’t meant for us. We just accepted it and wrote it off as one of those things that just happens, but then there was a knock at our office door and it was a handsome server from the lamp post diner with the correct order! That is not something anywhere else would have ever done! We were so impressed that they drove the correct order out to us we just had to leave a stellar review! Thank you so much for the excellent customer service!

I love American diners! They have a special atmosphere of holiday like you gather all family to eat out your favorite meal! I have never been disappointed of this particular diner because they give you a huge amount of everything and you can even have your own options. I am in love with fluffy pancakes of different topping varieties and desserts which I try to pick different every time we go there with hubby. My favorites are cheesecake and 3 chocolate layers muss cake! My husband loves chicken tenters with rice with lemon sauce. The only thing which would bother you but at the same time it's a plus that you have to wait a long line on Sundays!
