Highly recommend. Our meal and service were exceptional!! After dinner we walked across the street to watch a gorgeous sunset! We will definitely be back!

Jordan was our server and he was fantastic! The food was perfectly prepared and presented! Small venue, very intimate with filtered ocean views made this the perfect spot!

Cute diner with a small patio serving excellent food. We talked about the burger for days, then returned for brunch. The salmon eggs Benedict was incredible ? with smoked salmon, capers, and raw onions, it was like the Benedict version of bagels and lox.And to top it off, the servers were friendly and fun to be around.

Had an early morning breakfast here recently and loved it. Sat outside where you can easily see the water across the road. The service was very friendly and efficient. The food tasted great. Be sure to try the key lime French toast. It has a nice taste of key lime without being over powering or overly sweet. It’s just right. I could have eaten two plates full! Highly recommend. This was one of favorite restaurant in the island! We had delicious meals with fresh fish, lobster, scallops! The waitress was polite and efficient. The only complaint is we were EATEN ALIVE by the no-see-ems. If you haven?t heard, they are gnat-like bugs that you don?t see or feel until it?s too late. The notes are itchier than mosquitoes. Supposedly baby oil works well to prevent them from latching, (don?t apply during the day, you?ll get a sunburn) around sunset and later. Bug spray didn?t help much.

I really enjoy the relaxed dive bar atmosphere of this place. It’s the kind of spot where you can feel completely at ease in your sandy shoes and beach attire. During my recent visit, I placed my orders at the bar with the welcoming bartenders, who called my name when my food was ready. The drinks were made fresh and served promptly. I had a canned Nutrl cocktail along with the fried shrimp basket, and it was absolutely perfect. The shrimp were large, not overly breaded, and cooked to perfection. The fries were seasoned and crispy, served hot and fresh. It was so delicious and definitely one of my favorite meals of the week. What a great experience, we 've been coming to Sanibel for years, and I can 't believe it was our 1st experience with the Sunset Grill..because of a compromised immune system we couldn 't enjoy dining in so I called ahead and spoke to a awesome young woman Heather ..she was patient and recommended some great ideas for dinner..I had the Chicken with mash potatoes and veggies, we also had the grouper and at her suggestion I tried the crab shrimp bisque ..delicious..Heather thank you for the kind helpful help, and when I picked it up you were even nicer in person..just the service alone would bring me back, but hoping next year will allow me the privilege of dining in, and hope to see you again...
