"Size doesn’t matter at Le Soleil; it's a cozy spot with a lot of warmth. When I visited during Fleet Week, the line was spilling out the door as I was eager to reconnect with my Haitian roots and indulge in some authentic Haitian food. Le Soleil exceeded my expectations! I savored every dish on my plate. The service was exceptionally professional, and the owner is the kindest person in NYC—she made me feel right at home. I will definitely be back to Le Soleil. Even though I had to wait a little due to the crowds, it was absolutely worth it. Le Soleil has quickly become my favorite Haitian restaurant in Manhattan, and I highly recommend trying the homemade lemonade!"

The oxtail lacked enough meat and wasn't worth the cost. On the other hand, the black rice was excellent, and they offered a generous serving.

The black rice, rice with beans, accra, fried green plantains, griot, and the sauce on the side were all absolutely delicious. The servings were generous, and I will definitely be ordering from here again.

The oxtail with rice, beans, and plantains was so amazing! This was my first time coming here and it was so good. Slightly expensive, but this is Manhattan so it?s understandable. I will definitely come back here and try some other foods! Visualizza piatti

I was really let down by this restaurant. The meat had a strong oily taste, as if it were soaked in oil instead of sauce, which made it overly greasy. If you're in New York, I suggest steering clear of this place. Just wanted to share my experience!

The food here is fantastic! It's the only place in Manhattan where you can find authentic Haitian cuisine. While it can be a bit pricey, it's definitely worth it. I just wish they offered Haitian Black Rice and were open more days instead of just select ones.

I really enjoy this restaurant and the food is excellent, but I was disappointed with my recent order. I requested rice and bean sauce, but I received only white rice without the bean sauce. If you were out of the bean sauce, you could have called me, and I would have chosen the du riz colé instead. Visualizza piatti

The Haitian cuisine here is phenomenal and incredibly authentic. The conch, goat stew, and macaroni and cheese are all outstanding! The goat is so tender that it can be sliced effortlessly with just the edge of a spoon. I was a bit disappointed that they were out of black rice, but I will definitely be ordering it soon! The pikliz is also expertly made, with the perfect amount of spice!

I've ordered from this restaurant three times, and each time I've been let down. During my first visit, I tried the legumes, which had no meat and were totally lacking in flavor. On my second visit, I went for the fritaille, but there was barely anything on the plate, and the burnt, dried pork was really unappetizing. I told myself I would never come back! However, tonight, feeling hungry and knowing they’re the only Haitian restaurant in the area, I decided to give them another shot. I just wasted another $20 on some terrible fritaille! At this point, they really should think about shutting down! It's hard to believe how much they need to improve!
