Lighthouse Cove Resort

Love this place. It's so dainty and secluded. The view, bar and access to the beach is fantastic. Super friendly staff at any time of the day.

Love, love, LOVE Lighthouse Cove Resort. My family has been vacationing here since I was a teenager, and I love it just as much now as I did back then.

ALL elevators are out of service with no accurate estimate of repair time. We’re on the 8th floor and have hip and knee problems. It was hell lugging all of our luggage and groceries up 8 floors of non-air conditioned steps in the hot humid Florida temperatures. Someone is going to have a heart attack trying to get to the room. Management keeps saying “Someone is coming to fix it”. They don’t seem to be making much effort.

The location is fantastic, but parking is limited. The building is quite old, and the main elevator is out of service. The stairs are challenging to navigate due to their unusual rise and run. Many of the exterior doors are very rusty, and some door frames have rusted out completely. Overall, the building has seen better days. The bathroom is small, and the sink is lower than usual, with no grab bar in the bathtub for safety.

This resort had great ocean views and some nice food choices on site. There were also a lot of great restaurants within a short driving distance. The one major issue we had was that the one working elevator they had kept breaking down daily which resulted in us using the stairs often and we were on the 5th floor. This would be a major issue if you are elderly or handicapped. If climbing stairs is an issue for you or your fellow guests, you might have to look elsewhere Visualizza piatti

We had a wonderful experience during our stay here. The beach was lovely and perfect for swimming. The pool was fantastic, and the tiki bar added a charming touch to the overall atmosphere. The only downside was that the shower was quite small, and you aren’t allowed to set up any canopies on the beach. As for nearby activities, there are jet ski rentals and banana boat rides available right on the property. Regarding food and drinks, there’s a restaurant and a tiki bar on-site.

5 stars to the pool, the view, the security, the front lobby service, and the restaurant. The rooms were a different story, however. They were super cramped, and there was no towel delivery or trash pickup.They do have a wonderful balcony. I would give a 3.5 on cleanliness. The bathroom and kitchen was clean, but I'm not sure on the sheets and pillows. The pullout bed was also broken down and fairly painful on the back.Generally, you don't spend that much time in the room when on a beach vacation, but it's a negative when you can't come back for a good sleep or get new towels without an ordeal. Our checkin experience was horrible, mostly due to the attitude of desk person Lavon. It was pouring rain and he sent us to an elevator that wasn’t working most of the week that was at the far end of the building. So we and other groups checking in took our carts filled with luggage and groceries outside through ponding rain to an elevator that didn’t work. We then had to return through the same conditions to the only operating elevator which was right outside then office and wait after we and our belongings were soaking wet.
