I remember when this place use to be a Japanese restaurant. And oh my goodness. The food here is top notch. We actually used them to cater for my wedding!!! You don’t find a good Caesar salad anywhere but here the Caesar salad is the best. There is a hidden menu item it’s called the bolognese. Incredible restaurant. Delicious food. Our First time, party of six for a birthday, such a great time, wife had salmon cooked perfectly MR, grand daughters really enjoyed the mussels and we so appreciated the service, she was fantastic, they use a swarm approach which provides constant table maintenance, they were on their game for sure A note, the Bartender was so on point with his customers for sure, looks like he filled up seats first, and such loyalty the joy from his customers, the banter was incredible. I was by myself and decided to sit at the bar. There was maybe 3 to 4 seats open. Mind you the bar isn't that big and there was only 2 to 3 people sitting. I was told I was not allowed to sit at the bar. The reason I was given by the bartender was that the seats were reserved. I said I didn't know we could reserve seats at the bar and the hostess then responded saying normally they don't but that the bartender had been working there a long time. I was offered a table which I didn't take because I was only there to have a drink or 2. No more then 30min because I had to be somewhere else. We used to go there when it was a sushi/Japanese restaurant. We went today with no expectations,there was only one other car there,so I didn't have high hopes.On arrival we were met by a great hostess and seated immediately.The menu wasn't huge for lunch,but just enough to not be overwhelming.It was me,my husband,3 year old son and super picky 12 year old daughter.Me and my son got water and my husband got a soda and daughter a sweet tea. The sodas were off so they both ended up with sweet tea that they liked.We ordered the bread plate and special of the day crab cakes.The bread plate was $5 and was worth every penny.
