"Great homestyle meals that taste like Grandma's! The service was superb and our family left absolutely pleased with our visit. The cornbread and rolls were also amazing. Wish we would have had room for dessert, but the meal was so satisfying we couldn't splurge on anything additional. I'm sure the pecan pie and blackberry cobbler would have tasted heavenly as well. If we are ever in the area again, we will certainly return to Lizard's Thicket!"

The chicken was absolutely delicious! It filled me up so quickly that I couldn’t eat much else. The service was excellent; they truly care about their customers. You can really feel the Southern hospitality here!

We have dined at this restaurant twice, and both experiences have been excellent. We ordered takeout, and some items were missing; fortunately, I checked our bags before leaving the parking lot. There were no issues in getting our order corrected. The staff was friendly and apologized for the mistake. We will certainly return.
