"The service was outstanding as well. Our server noticed that I received the wrong side (green beans, which were also tasty) and made sure to bring me the correct side. She even warmed up my pie so it would be perfectly hot when I was ready to eat it and encouraged me to place my dessert order before finishing my entree, ensuring it would be ready for me. She was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, with great food, excellent service, and very reasonable prices, I would highly recommend Lizard's Thicket!"

We stopped by with a group of 26 just before lunchtime, and they quickly accommodated us while providing excellent service. The food was fantastic, showcasing authentic Southern cooking.

Classic country cooking at its best! The dinner special is just $7.99 and includes one meat along with three sides (or vegetables). If you have any space left for dessert, it's only $2.99. I highly recommend trying their cornbread dressing and mac and cheese!

We were in search of comforting home cooking and we definitely found it. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Our meals arrived promptly, even though the place was busy, and everything was served hot. I was looking for a keto-friendly dinner after work, and this place did not disappoint. Their hamburger steak is excellent, topped with perfectly cooked onions. The green beans were a bit on the institutional side, but still decent. The salad was fresh, and the ranch dressing was tasty. I always know what to expect here, and it never lets me down. I’ll definitely return. To stick to my keto diet, I made my own dipping sauce with mayonnaise, mustard, and hot sauce.
