""I'd like to share a photo of my chocolate decadence dessert. We reserved a private room and enjoyed the set menu #1. The food quality was absolutely five stars, featuring incredibly rich and delicious buttery sauces. We had chicken piccata, Caesar salad, and the amazing flourless chocolate decadence cake. The staff were very accommodating, and I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s located in a somewhat industrial area, which made me feel a bit lost at first, but there’s a large parking lot available. I discovered that this is one of my brother’s favorite Italian restaurants!""

"We chose to sit in a booth for the comfort of our group, but the only available booth still needed to be cleared. Despite this, we were happy to wait. Unfortunately, the server walked past us and greeted other customers who arrived after us before finally coming to our table. She rudely pointed out that there were other clean tables available. When I explained that we preferred a booth, she walked away without saying anything else. Feeling disrespected, we decided to leave. I usually don't complain about restaurant service, as I know it can be a tough job, but in this case the staff was clearly rude. This is a rare occurrence for me. We then visited The Rose, where we were immediately greeted and treated with kindness. The difference in service was remarkable. We will not be returning to the Meridian Cafe."

"I’ve been eating at this place for years, but hadn’t in several months. Today I took my kids here and the quality of food and attention to detail was beyond subpar! We ordered two chicken breast teriyaki orders and a Katsu meal. The Yaki was awful! I’d assume the chicken had been sitting around all day and was overcooked! My daughter asked if the chicken was fake! The Katsu was rock hard. More disappointing than the quality of the food was the ladies interaction with other customers. This individual was rude to many customers and acted like everyone was an inconvenience. There are many teriyaki options in the area, this restaurant either doesn’t realize this or has become complacent to the point they don’t care! What was once a good place no longer exists!"

"I arrived just 10 minutes before closing and felt a bit guilty about it, so I asked if the staff could still take our order. Without any hesitation, she smiled and gladly helped us. I didn’t catch her name, but I truly appreciate her excellent customer service and kindness."

"We had a reservation for 12 family members celebrating 3 birthdays. We were seated at 6:30pm which was on time. We did not receive our dinner until 7:30…4 had dinner salads, 4 sandwiches, 1hamburger, 1 order mac cheese and 1 had salmon. Did not think the order was that difficult to take an hour. 2 sandwiches they had to use a different bread than the one on the menu because they ran out and then charged an additional $1 each without telling us it was going to be more. Simply if you run out of bread don’t charge the customer if you have to substitute . Advise them if you use a different bread your going to charge….I mean really..Charge me more because you ran out of the bread on your menu….The 3 crab cake appetizers were the size of a silver dollar and did not have a great taste. The steam clam appetizer was tasteless. The sandwiches were just ok but nothing you would reorder if you came again. The salads again just ok…..The mac cheese and hamburger were good. We ordered desserts the Spiced Carrot Cake was tasty but dry, The Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake did not taste like either peanut butter or chocolate and also was dry, the best part of the Fried Bread Pudding was the Carmel sauce and pecans…if that tells you anything…..I could go on and on.. I realize we had 12 people but the service was terrible, the food so so. Our bill was $700+ and then a 20% tip they required. I wouldn’t have minded paying that tip if the service was good and the food average or above average or they let us know prior it would take a least an hour to receive our dinner so we had the opportunity to decide if we wanted to wait. 11 out of the 12 individuals will not return to this restaurant ever!"
