The food at this restaurant is amazing. They use fresh, seasonal ingredients to create unique and interesting dishes. I have never been disappointed with my meal here.

My husband and I sat out on the front patio with a heat lamp it was very comfortable and a beautiful setting.We had incredible fresh vegetables and unique/delicious combinations. The meet was tender and cooked perfectly. What a find!

The food and service were great. I had the arugula salad and added chicken. It was delicious. I will most certainly return to this restaurant, but next time I will come in warmer weather and definitely sit outside. Way too noisy inside for normal conversation. Visualizza piatti

A great menu that changes regularly with seasonal fruits and vegetables. Authentic recipes that are always fresh and creative. They take great care in selecting their produce, meats, and fish, ensuring a depth of flavor and texture. On par with some of SF's best restaurants.

MSK is an excellent farm to table restaurant. The salads and vegetables are the stars of the menu. We also had a ribeye and salmon. Both were very good but not outstanding. Demitri was extremely helpful in selecting a wine to go with our diverse courses. We will come again but likely will wait for summer and sit outside.

Overall good experience, though the place has gotten a lot busier. The service was friendly and a bit slow. We were presented wit the check before even being asked if we wanted coffee and dessert (which we then decided to get elsewhere) We're happy the Main Street Kitchen has done so well. Although much of the food is good, they hire some of the worst wait staff I have ever encountered. They range from aloof and inattentive to rude and demeaning with over familiarity (i.e. hun, dear, etc... . The pasta I had on a recent visit was drowning in oil and had little flavor in the tomato sauce. The salads are one of their best bets as they are always fresh and use creative ingredient combos. The owner should do himself a favor and invest in a professional wait staff as this would raise the level of the dining experience.

The noise level in this restaurant is beyond belief. Conversation is impossible unless you are seated outside on the patio. As we had reserved, we wailed for an open table outside a half hour wait. We ordered from our waitress (hard to find a waitress! who returned to our table after some discussion with inside staff, to be told the menus we were given by the hostess were out of date. More wait time... A nice and pleasant staff, to be sure, but unless you are seated outside, the noise level inside is intolerable and cannot be recommended at any level.

Before we came in, I checked the menu on line, that showed 3 pages of items. To our surprise and disappointment, the menu upon arrival, consisted of 1 page (10 items? . We had a hard time picking anything out, because theyn dont do substitutions, no bread, no side salad, and in order to add some chicken to the pasta, our waitress had to ask for a special permission. We were charged $2.50 for some extra parmesan for our pasta dish! My fish and cauliflower were delicious, but came in cold. So was the pasta. We paid over $100 and left hungry and unhappy. We would have left right away, but they requested a credit card prior to booking and I didn't want to be charged as if I didnt show up. Visualizza piatti
