I've been visiting my niece confirmation party there. Eating was excellent from appetizers to pasta to main course, everything was served hot. kellnerservice was exemplary. would be happy for everything from partys to intimate dinners.

Tucked away in Tuckahoe this traditional Italian restaurant is a staple. It has a solid menu with great seafood options. The stuffed calamari, sole francese, chicken scarp, sausage with shells are some of my favorites. The owner and hostess are friendly and welcoming.

I highly recommend Mama Assunta's as a fantastic local restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. Some recommended dishes to try are the lasagna, Chicken Marsala, salad, shrimp risotto, bruschetta, saltimbocca, and polenta sfritta. The price per person ranges from $50 to $100 for dinner.

I went to this restaurant for a meal after a funeral. We started with antipasto, which had very small portions with thinly sliced cold cuts cut into quarters. Next, we had family-style fried calamari and salad, which were good. The pasta that followed also had small portions, but tasted good. Came with a large group (10 for dinner. The service was great and our servers were professional and attentive. The most difficult thing about this dining experience was selecting only one entree the food was delicious. Provided the size of the reservation, it was a quaint dining experience. We were in a small dining room near the back of the restaurant. The tables were adequately spaced apart and it was a very comfortable experience throughout.

My experience at this restaurant was not good. I spent over $200 and waited two hours for my meal. I spoke to the manager about my frustrations but he did not offer any discount or a free meal. Instead, he just apologized and kept rubbing my arm. As a former restaurant manager myself, I find this behavior unacceptable. Additionally, I found the quality of the food to be mediocre. Overall, I was not impressed and would not choose to dine at this restaurant again.

1. The dinner portions were unacceptable for the price. My dessert, a supposed N.Y cheesecake, was tiny and overly sweet with strawberry filling. Even an hour after I got home, I was still hungry and had to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. 2. The waiter was slow and we had to chase after him to get the bill. I would have left a smaller tip. I don't need a server to be my best friend, just be efficient when it comes to taking care of the customers' needs like paying for dinner. Visualizza piatti
