"Our group of 18 senior citizens went there for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon expecting to order from their lunch menu. To our shocking surprise, they refused to let us order from their lunch menu. We had to order from their dinner menu which was priced much higher. They said our group is too large for lunch menu price. We had checked their website before we went and there was no mentioned of such rules and we went there anticipating ordering from the lunch menu. They also rquired us to pay in cash individually, no credit cards because our group is too large. Some of our members did not bring enough cash and had to borrow money from each other. We complaint to the server about this and he got really offensive and treated us very poorly after that. This place is a scammer, caught us by surprised with no advanced warning. We all said we will never go back there again. They just lost a large group of potential customers."

I love this place but when ordering the Spinach Ravioli you only get 5 raviolis! Thats over $3 a ravioli. They need to put more in there.

Rated a 4 as prices charged did not match menu. A bit unethical.Jan 2024. Tried again. Food was fantastic. Menus were updated and although prices we a bit high, the food and service was great.

Marcello's Ristorante is nicely decorated with a cozy dining room. We both had the delicious Manicotti it came with a salad and bread. All in all it was a good experience, the price was a little more than other places, but it was worth it. Next time we'll bring some wine. ?? Visualizza piatti

Want to love this old school Italian with brick oven pizza. Ordered many times for takeout and was always decent. Sometimes mediocre but haven't hesitated ordering takeout (though I do prefer takeout from Coppola on Central Ave in New Providence). Dined in last week and was very disappointed. Certainly don't want to yuck someone's yum, but I'll pass next time. And I hate to rail what I imagine was a bustling byo restaurant in it's day but, sorry Marcello's, there are so many better byo/full bar options within a mile.

Aweful. Went for 2 slices of pizza today, May, 29th. Walked in. No one was in the pizzara part. Went into dining room 2 men were sitting there with a bottle of red wine. Fine. Ordered 2 slices of pizza to find out they don’t serve slices in the dining room. Because we were the only ones in there he agreed to serve us, we drank water. Bill came…$9.00 for 2 slices of pizza. Because he gave us napkins, silverware. None of which was needed. My husband said to him, if he had been in the pizzeria part of the restaurant, none of this would have happened. Never again
