"When I made the reservation, I didn't realize the restaurant was located in a hotel. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the charming old-school Miami atmosphere—think classy and cool! Dining outside with a view of the pool and beautifully landscaped grounds constantly reminds you that you’re in paradise. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect. The entire staff, along with management, works seamlessly to ensure your experience is nothing short of extraordinary. The food was outstanding, some of the best I've ever tasted. Our server took the time to walk us through the menu, explaining each dish and suggesting an excellent bottle of wine to pair with our meal. Every dish we ordered was a delightful culinary experience! This restaurant has certainly earned a top spot on our “must-visit” list for future trips to the area. We will definitely be returning many more times. I cannot recommend this place highly enough—5 stars all the way!"

This was our second time at Mareva 1939 and again, it was outstanding! We sat outside on the terrace (not poolside and enjoyed the cool Florida air! There were four of us and we ordered everything on the left side of the menu everything and had dessert. Each item was incredible...I LOVE the Pan con Tomate, Grilled Artichoke Hearts wow! (how did they do that? Kale Salad, Scallops Crudo OMG THE OCTOPUS!, Mussels, Steak Tartare!! BONE MARROW! We loved everything, but the above are just a few that jump out. We will be back again and again!

I can honestly say that this is one of the finest restaurants in Miami Beach, located at the National Hotel. The service is impeccable, and the decor and ambiance are beautiful, especially on the outdoor patio. As for the food, it's outstanding. Every meal I had—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was amazing! I would give the food six stars if it were possible. Everything is expertly prepared and beautifully presented. I also want to give a shout-out to Alexandra, our dinner server, who was delightful and professional. Well done, Mareva 1939!
