"Food was average, but have had much better for far less Was over charged for my order and when I brought this up with server/staff member they refused to deduct the 2 from my bill. Have been to many other Mexican restaurant's where chips and salsa are complimentary, since our order was taking longer than expected we asked if they could bring us more chips/salsa which they brought out right away(un-like our dinner) We later found that they charge for second serving of chips an salsa if I remember correctly it was 4.25? I don't mind just wish I was told they will charge for second order of chips. It appears they like to nickel and dime customers far too much. This will be the last time my family and I visit this establishment, If you are looking for great Tex-Mex restaurant there is a wonderful place in Iselin, NJ where they don't charge for chips/salsa and there is also no fee to use a credit card as there is at Maria Bonita."

Just not worth the money. Very bland all arouund and the balls to charge 2.25 for a side of salsa thats two tablespoons? Heard good things about this place but a tastless ground beef burrito and stringy chewy chicken enchiladas verdes. Don't even need to try it a second time. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner

This is the best Mexican food in Hackettstown, maybe even in all of warren county. I got the mole poblano and it was amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. However, the food wasn't consistent. One dish was delicious—a soup with vegetables and meat—while another had great flavors but the meat was overcooked and extremely dry. The yellow rice was also dry, and the beans lacked flavor, which was disappointing. I decided to give it another chance with takeout, but the presentation was terrible; even Taco Bell looks better. Such a letdown. Price per person: $20–30.
