I love everything about this store, only wish it were even closer to me! Lots of vegan cheeses available here. Fantastic deli too!!

A staple of Tacoma!!! Salad bar, juice bar, fresh pastries. Besides the excellent produce, staple fridge supplements, pet foods, beer, wine, and everything else you want from a medium sized health food store!

Marlene’s is a small market and very expensive, but you will find lots of specialty items here! They have stuff you can’t even find at Whole Foods but it will cost you. The food is really good though! You have to pay for quality.

Marlene's has been the best while visiting Tacoma from St. Louis. I was so happy to stop by and find something healthy and delicious to eat. I ordered the veggie and rice with tahini dressing and an amazing green smoothie. I love this place so much. It had many plant based items I couldn't find else where. And it's a wonderful alternative to Whole Foods, especially when the one closest is so picked over.
