"Great mom and pop donut place that I've frequented for over 20 years now. Best apple fritters around, the plain glazed are actually still tasty even when they're cold. LOVE their sausage croissants. They have yeast, cake and old fashioned cake (buttermilk) donuts, aaaaalll delicious!"

The donuts and donut holes here are absolutely delicious! It's a shame they've stopped making the danishes, as they were fantastic. I also really enjoy their sausage kolaches.

I used to visit this donut shop as a child, and it's been 20 years since my last visit after moving to different cities and states. However, I still think about how incredible these kolaches are. If you haven't tried them yet, you're really missing out!

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
