"The service at this restaurant was extremely slow and we were told that the kitchen was backed up. The quality of the food was so poor that it was barely edible. When we informed our server, we were only given a $13 credit. The crab cakes were cold with no sauce, and the blackened fish sandwich had no meat, just mixed greens in a roll, which was very confusing. The fries and onion rings came out 15 minutes before our main dishes, and were served without ketchup or ranch. The children's meals were cold and flavorless, and I was charged for apple juice but served Sprite instead. I was disappointed with the poor quality of the food and the lack of any effort from the server or manager to rectify the situation. I would advise avoiding this place at all costs. Additionally, I had made a reservation through Open Table but still had to wait in line for 10 minutes before being seated."

An enjoyable evening with lots of menu choices and friendly service throughout our dinner. It’s been a while since we have visited Max’s so it was nice to know it is still a good place to enjoy a good meal with friends. Visualizza piatti

Had lunch with my mother and had a wonderful time. The potato skins were awesome. My patty melt was prepared perfectly. My mom really enjoyed her lox and bagel. The Niagara Falls cake is a must and it is big enough to share. Will definitely go back.

Once such a great restaurant. Needs a serious upgrade. Looks old and worn. Food was ok. Not as good as years past. Unfortunately, the wrong profession for our server. Difficult time with conversation, no check back, and super slow service. Once a go to for me. Not until changes are made.

This restaurant used to be one of our favorites, but we were disappointed this time. The food quality has gone downhill. The large Nacho plate came with sparse beans and sour cream. The Chinese chicken salad had dry chicken and lacked dressing. The Brownie sundae tasted old. However, the dirty Martini was excellent. We won't be returning soon and hope they take our feedback to heart. The restaurant used to have a long line, but not anymore. Visualizza piatti

Food tasted old. Ordered 2 desserts and the cheesecake tasted like it were in the freezer for a year first. The cake was moist. That was good. Ordered a turkey dinner and Chinese chicken salad. The salad had hardly any peanuts and absolutely no dressing at all. None. The peanuts that were on there looking the the size and amazing you’d find in a McDonald’s sundae. It also had way too much green onion. Little to no wantons. The turkey dinner looked like deli turkey. We had to ask for bread which was stale. This place use to have really good food and a nice busy atmosphere. No more. The service was fantastic though.

Our party of four had a wonderful birthday brunch celebration. What an extensive selection! And we all loved our choices as well as the latkes we shared as an appetizer. Not that an appetizer was needed since the portions were generous. The Montecristo Sandwich was the highlight and was the choice of the Birthday Girl! I loved my four cheese omelet with caramelized onions and mushrooms. The guys enjoyed their choices: huevos rancheros and a luscious chicken marsala. We squeezed in desserts too key lime pie was to die for! Also must mention the terrific bar service rusty nail, mimosa, irish coffees, as well as the bottle of Gloria Ferrer bubbly that truly made it a PARTY! Our thanks to the ch...

"Curry Hyuga had long been on my culinary radar, and today, I finally had the chance to experience it. The occasion arose as I needed to pick up my partner at SFO later, and given the mere 10-minute drive from the restaurant to the airport, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to satiate my appetite and make the most of my time, rather than aimlessly circling around the airport. Conveniently, there are numerous public parking lots scattered throughout the town. The restaurant opens its doors at 11:30 am, and I arrived promptly at 11:25 am, only to find a queue already forming outside, as depicted in the photo. The attentive server, Yuki promptly greeted each customer and kept my water glasses filled, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.Opting for their Signature Curry Rice Entree, which features their caramelized onion curry accompanied by shredded cabbage, creamy potato salad, and Fukujin pickles, I decided to elevate my meal by adding Chicken Cutlet Katsu Curry with Chicken Karaage as additional toppings. To my amazement, my order was delivered to my table in a mere 3 minutes, which left me thoroughly impressed. Curry Hyuga's standout feature is their incredibly tender meat, perfectly complemented by their mouthwatering curry—a true masterpiece with Kanazawa-style sweetness and richness that sets it apart. To further customize your dish, they offer a selection of five different spices: Ichimi Togarashi, Jalapeno Pepper, Pequin Pepper, Wiri Wiri Pepper, and Orange Habanero. I had the pleasure of sampling all of them, and personally, I found the Wiri Wiri Pepper and Orange Habanero powder to be standout choices. Their spiciness elevated the curry to a whole new level, complemented by the unique fragrance of the peppers."
