"I took a friend to Maxwell's Tavern to celebrate his birthday. We went on a Wednesday night, and the place was crowded, which is a good sign. This is a cool tavern in downtown Waxhaw. They have a nice selection of craft beers on tap, and I had a Great Lake Oktoberfest. We both ordered the Maxwell's Tavern burger with fries, and it was so good. Maxwell's Tavern is a great place to have good beer and delicious food. I look forward to coming back soon. Kid-friendliness: Many people bring their kids to eat here.
