"I love the pizza at Mellow Mushroom. I have eaten in many of their locations across the country and although there were a few issues when it first opened, it is a great restaurant. There are lots of choices for vegans, in addition to lots of veggie they offer vegan cheese, flavored tofu and tempeh. I really like the deep dish with BBQ tempeh, pineapple and green peppers- delicious! However, they sometimes put too much cheese on for me so I now always order with light cheese The service is generally good, some servers are better than others, and sometimes the service can be slow. Otherwise it’s my favorite place to get vegan pizza in Sarasota!"

I love the vegan pizza at this place, the crust is amazing and they have vegan cheese and a lot of toppings. Tempeh and tofu, a lot of veggies etc. Love it!!

Server assured me the tempeh cooked separately. Use Follow Your Heart cheese. One of the managers came out, she's vegan, and told me the process. Very reassuring. #Veganuary

This restaurant is a great option for dining with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian friends and family. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was lively, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely dine here again.

If you’re in the mood for vegan pizza, Mellow Mushroom has vegan cheese, lots of veggie options and tofu or tempeh for protein. I’m not crazy about Follow Your heart vegan cheese, but I appreciate it is offered as an option! I like the tofu and all the veggies are fresh!

awesome vegan pizza! They use follow your heart cheese and are able to make it melt like really cheese would. The Great White is amazing when made vegan. They have a lot of great vegan options other than pizza too. Their salad and hummus is delicious. Laid back environment. Visualizza piatti

We’ve been here a few times before and it’s ok. I like the fact that they have follow your heart cheese rather than Daiya, and it’s a good pizza with lots of topping options, but it is expensive and the service is extremely slow. Our waitress actually tried to get us to order fewer pizzas because she was worried there wasn’t enough room on the table. (There was plenty of room on the table It was weird and annoying. There is better vegan pizza nearby, so we probably won’t return.

this was our first visit to sarasota. we were greeted by lurks who was also our server. I asked for vegan options and she quickly told me everything she could do to meet my requirements. I have a tomato allergy, so she suggested olive oil and garlic on the crust. crust was delicious by the way! I had veggies of my choice as well as tempo and I added them a nozzle of Balsamico reduction. all about our visit today exceeded my expectations! if they have the opportunity, ask them to be their server!
