"We ground this place by chance while on vacation here in St Augustine. We returned with friends the next day, and then on our trip back through town, we stopped again for breakfast. The food was outstanding every day. From the western omelet (completely loaded with stuff) to the biscuits and gravy, which was like I make at home. My wife had the waffles and thinks they put crack in them she says they are amazing. The fruit was fresh, and everything else was done to perfection. We had different waitresses each time, and they were excellent. On the ball, I am very attentive. Our drinks were kept full, plates were cleared as needed, and we never once felt rushed. We will choose the Metro Diner for breakfast every time we are in St Augustine in the future. Parking: They share a parking lot with a stroller mall so there is more than enough parking at all times. Fantastic place for a gluten-free, dairy-free breakfast! The service was outstanding, and the staff was well-informed about our dietary restrictions. During our visit, we dined there at least 5 or 6 times. I only wish there was a location in California!

We visited this restaurant in Palm Coast, and it was fantastic! I ordered the fried chicken eggs Benedict, which is now my favorite dish! My girlfriend had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and breakfast potatoes, and she loved it as well. While the sausage in the gravy might not be the most flavorful, it was still quite good with the biscuits. The service was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were huge! Food was so good and lots of choices. Service was good, even with the large crowds on the day we went. It was noisy, but not surprising with the number of people present. Only complaint was how cold it was at the tables. We asked if the fan above our table, we were told no, because it was for ventilation for the kitchen, which strangely had no fans.
