Mica's Pub - Piatti

We had a delicious meal here. I had the best wedge salad I've ever had. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server was disengaged. He would not look at the person speaking, leaving you to believe he was not listening. It was quite odd. I had to go get himwhen we needed something. The large back covered patio area is nice and we enjoyed the open air.

I?ve been to quite a few resort restaurants in South Carolina and most could be considered bar food at best, so I was not expecting much from Mica?s. I?m happy to say that Mica?s served up a brilliant fresh trout and potatoes dish. The French onion soup of the day was also superb. Lovely environment and friendly service. If you?re in the area, Mica?s is a great choice.

On vacation for first time in this area. Glad we found Mica's. The trout was delicious, loved their onion strings and the sweet potato fries were awesome. Only in area for a week but went back for second time and glad we did. When we came back to the very busy restaurant, there were only two seats left at the bar. The bartender checked on our food and provided us with updates while offering us drinks. We decided to go with the Peach Sangria, which was delightful. The food, when it arrived at The Brook Trout Inn in our room (as we had our dog with us), was amazing. Despite being short-staffed and busy, everyone was wonderful and greeted us with smiles.

We had a fantastic meal here. I had the best wedge salad I've ever tasted. Everyone liked their dishes as well. However, our server was a bit odd; he seemed disengaged and wouldn't make eye contact with anyone speaking to him, which made it seem like he wasn't listening. It was quite unusual. I often had to seek him out when we needed assistance. On a positive note, the spacious covered terrace is lovely, and we appreciated dining in the fresh air.

My Family and I had dinner here for the first time. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. Staff is friendly. I had ordered the Greek salad and it was very good. It was a large salad. My Husband had ordered the Pork pot stickers and he really enjoyed it. My Brother had ordered the French onion soup. He said that it was very salty. Our Momma ordered the Cod fish. She enjoyed that. On our first holiday in this area, we were fortunate to discover Micas. The trout was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the onion strings and sweet potato fries. Although we were only in the area for a week, we decided to return for a second visit, and we're so glad we did. We tried the appetizers, including pot stickers, knall shrimp, and those crispy onion strings again, and we capped off the meal with the triple chocolate cake (after all, we were on vacation!). The service was great as well.

We?ve been coming to Mica?s since we bought our home in 2007 Jack stood watch at the front entrance. Times have certainly changed and the new renovation has made what was for so long a dark and dated interior into a bright and more open concept dining concept. The food is always fresh and delicious. Service is attentive, but not overbearing. My Greek salad with shrimp skewer was perfectly cooked and my husband?s fish and chips was very tasty. If you?re in the Cashiers area, lunch or dinner at Mica?s is a must.

Food Very Good, Table Service Very Good, But the Greeting was not welcoming and can be improved. We had a good dinner there. The food was very good. I had the Onion Soup, which was good, but not great (A little salty), My trout entree and mygirlfriend's grilled pork chop dinner were excellent. The house salad was also excellent with nice fresh ingredients. I triedcalling several times during the day to see if reservations were advisable and no one answered the phone. They offer pick-up,but how can one place an order when no one answers the phone? Also, the hostess was not friendly and short when we arrived -not a welcoming vibe.
