"I never actually ate here, but let me tell you, that was probably for the best. My experience with Kill Devil Grill started with me trying to order food online. Silly me, I thought that would be a straightforward process. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. After fighting with their broken online system, I decided to give them a call. You know, like people used to do in the dark ages before the internet. I was on hold for a while, but hey, I figured they were busy whipping up some delicious food. How naive of me. When I finally got through to the host, I explained my situation, expecting at least a smidge of empathy or, I don’t know, a willingness to help. Instead, I was hit with a line that’s going to be etched in my memory forever: The kitchen said no. This was after they asked, how many things are you going to order? Really? No. Just... no. No explanation, no apology, no attempt to even pretend like they cared. Apparently, asking to place an order over the phone was too much for them to handle. I mean, how dare I want to give them money in exchange for food? The nerve! Look, I’ve dealt with bad service before, but this was a whole new level of ridiculous. The fact that they couldn’t even be bothered to take an order says everything you need to know about this place. Customer service? What’s that? The people running this joint clearly have no clue. Honestly, I’m relieved I didn’t actually get to try their food. If their service is this bad, I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. Maybe the kitchen didn’t say no —maybe it was trying to warn me. In any case, I’ve taken the hint. I won’t be bothering Kill Devil Grill with my pesky orders again. If you value your time, money, or basic human decency, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this place."

"First time dining at the Red Drum Tap House. Not very busy as our party of 8 arrived but became busier as the evening progressed. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Our table had positives and negatives with our meals. An ordered medium raretuna was medium well and vegetables were very undercooked for each meal but blackened salmon over the spinach salad wasdelicious. The bathroom was very dirty and appeared to not have been wiped down for a while along with lots of dust on the blackpainted areas. Upon asking for our checks for the 4 couples, we were informed the restaurant can only take 2-3 credit cards pertable. Come on, this is 2022 and I?m sure the waitress had the ability to provide separate checks. I?m sure tips are frequentlydiscounted by this ?rule? as we now had to split the bill evenly amongst 3 cards while forcing one couple to use cash."

"As a diner who requires gluten-free options, I was pleasantly surprised by our server, Claire, who demonstrated a thorough understanding of the menu and the preparation methods to ensure my meal was safe. We decided on burgers, which were absolutely delicious. The gluten-free bun was impressive—soft and held up nicely. The atmosphere was casual and enjoyable, and we had a lovely view from the top floor patio. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Mulligans."

"I want to begin by noting that, in the current climate of high COVID-related unemployment, it's best to avoid dining out if you're not willing to be patient. With that being said, the wait time at this restaurant is quite lengthy. However, at any reputable restaurant these days, a wait should be expected. Despite the wait, I can confidently say that the wait here is worth it. This is one of the best Thai/Chinese restaurants I have been to. While we acknowledge and understand the challenges of wait times and service, the staff still managed to provide excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered."

"This is without a doubt in my list of personal favorite, and best restaurants I have ever been to. The food is freaking awesome. I cannot wait to revisit, and it is definitely worth a trip in itself! Our waitress the first visit was so helpful and fun, and she really made us excited for our food, and feel so at home and comfortable it was really awesome. And the service both visits was so fast! Your food will not take more than ten minutes to get to you. The menu is one of those menus where you will end up spending the most time trying to decide what you want, because you want everything. Every item sounds incredible. And it’s all so simple and straightforward everything is awesome, and you can tell they have their system down. Honestly the best thing for me was their waffle fries! Which feels lame to say, but they were unbelievably crispy and so well salted. And with avocado ranch, even better! I loved them. But it’d be totally unfair to not acknowledge everything else. It was all great. Not to mention, they have great prices. The first time I came, it was my girlfriend and I, and it was so good we had to tell my family and bring them all back with us!
