"update June 2024 Dana at the bar is great! Relaxed, cool, accommodating. Catfish and tartar sauce is still delicious Cozy relaxed atmosphere. A Middendorfs aesthetic. Cypress trees and alligator skin on wall along with two giant snapping turtle shells. I sat myself and waitress brought menus. Friendly staff. The table was bussed promptly after each course. Fried catfish was delicious. Crispy texture! House made tartar sauce was tasty as well. Hot sauce was on table. A roll of paper towels are also on each table in place of napkins. I didn't use the restroom so I can not judge cleanliness. The rest of the restaurant was clean however. No bugs. After eating I left the tip on the table. The waitress brought me my ticket and you bring it to the register to pay at your leisure. My first experience was great. The woman owner came out, greeted us, and checked on us. I was very pleased. I had a craving for fried catfish and was not disappointed"

The Crawfish Po' Boy was AMAZING! It was well-seasoned, the bread was fresh and soft, and the portions were quite generous. The egg rolls with tartar sauce were also a great appetizer. Thank you! Visualizza piatti

I go here at least once a month, love their poboys but this time I treated Mom for Mother's Day and we both got the seafood platter... trust me, worth every penny... so very good... and they also have a great burger... now I want to go get a burger, lol... great place...

the huh and the hurst were not roux based, but okra based. I think it can only be personal preference; although, for an okra-based rubberbums it was delicious. they accused me of something I never received, but once noticed that they were very polite and corrected it immediately.

Small out of the way family owned restaurant with separate bar area. The food was delicious with fresh ingredients. The portions were generous. I had the shrimp poboy and my husband had the oyster poboy. We split an order of onion rings. The servers were friendly. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area Visualizza piatti

The restaurant is divided into two sections, with a bar on one side and a dining area on the other. There were no fancy chandeliers or silk tablecloths; instead, the walls were adorned with large turtles and bass, and a massive tree trunk served as a support beam right in the center of the room. For me, it felt like home.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant with exceptional service from the friendly staff. The portion sizes were generous and the food was absolutely delicious. The shrimp and cornbisque were rich and flavorful. I ordered grilled shrimp this time, but I’m excited to try something different on my next visit. The chicken tenders were also quite tasty!
