"I come to TF once a yr for a family get together. We go to Big Eddy's every time. Obviously they have changed ownership. We were there on 7/3/24 for drinks and a snack. The service was horrible. We were the only people there and it took 20 minutes to get 2 jalapeno margaritas- which were made with pickled jalapenos ?. We ordered onion rings which tasted like chicken and this cheese dip that tasted terrible. Unfortunately, I continued eating it and 2 days later spent my entire afternoon at the urgent care in Plains with food poisoning! I am so pissed that I spent the next 4 days of my 6 day vacation writhing in stomach pain with diarrhea! Don't go to Big Eddy's!"

"Great place to grab something to drink and eat. We went it just because we saw that they sold checking wings, and they didn't disappoint. The best, non-fry chicken wings I had had in a while. The price is also right for today's economy, where everything is getting very expensive, we spent $39.00 for 3 beers and 20 chicken wings. Aside from the food, the bartender was very friendly and helpful when we were asking for the best draft beers, he allowed is to taste them before we got the full glass, which is always a plus. I will definitely come back if I am in the area again."

"We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon while exploring Thompson Falls. The building is quite charming, with a delightful dog theme throughout. Unfortunately, the customer service was lacking. The server who attended us was not friendly at all and seemed irritated to have to interact with us. There was no smile, no welcome, and no inquiry about what we might like to order. Good customer service is really important to our family, and when we feel treated like a burden at an establishment, we choose not to return. The day before, we had visited another coffee shop downtown that offered much better service and, honestly, a superior drink. It’s disappointing that our experience here didn’t meet our expectations, especially since we were all looking forward to trying this place."

"Mr. Dave, the manager there was very accommodative and a kind hearted gentleman. We were traveling after a long and tired trip from yellow stone. We called him by 6 pm to inform that we would be delayed to checkin. He allowed a late checkin and waited until we arrived at 12.30 pm. He was all in smiles to receive us that late and left the office afterwards. The help can never be forgotten as were we four families traveling with kids. He even cautioned us about the drive through route 200 with animals crossing."

"My wife and I have spent the last two years vacationing in Thompson Falls, and we've found that Minnie's Cafe is the go-to spot for locals. Their breakfast portions are generous and reasonably priced. I now opt for the light breakfast, which is still more than enough. Every meal we've enjoyed there has been excellent. Our favorite day to visit is Wednesday for the meatloaf. You often hear that cafe meatloaf can be hit or miss, but at Minnie's, you’d better arrive early—once it’s gone, it’s gone! It seems that everyone loves the meatloaf. For those who enjoy morning coffee, be aware that a pot of coffee lasts only about five minutes! The staff is incredibly friendly, making the experience even better."
