I couldn't call to place my takeout order because their phones were down, so I went to the restaurant in person. The food was served quickly, despite how busy the staff appeared to be. This is a very wonderful restaurant in the middle of nowhere. If you go in, you have to wonder if you are in Monahans or in a larger city. The food is really great and the staff is very attentive to serve you. The atmosphere is very pleasant and sometimes when you come, someone plays the piano or something. This is a great place to come when you have a dinner ride or just want to come from Midland, Odessa or an environment.

It was just ok. For the price we were expecting better. The staff were not friendly and most were sloppy dressed teens. Attire should match the atmosphere. The breading on the zucchini sticks and chicken fried steak was bland and not a good texture. Myhusband ordered an expensive steak and he says it was not the type he ordered and wasn't cooked right. The best part of our mealwas the salad and veggies, everything else was very bland. I rarely ever salt my food, but I needed to here. At first opening the parts were huge, then not, but now the sizes increase. The chicken salad is good, the Jazzburger is amazing, and the Tilapia is delicious. The fried cucumber spits are too small for the price. Don't even let me start in the deserts. However, do not go when you are starving because you are waiting for at least 30 minutes on your meal, probably longer. And it doesn't matter if you have a party of 2 or a party of 6. The staff is very friendly and the dress code is casual.
