"We used to love this place, the food was always good, the prices were fair and the portions were good. The last handful of times we’ve been there it’s been decreasing in all of the above. This time was the last straw, it took several minutes for us to be noticed upon arriving, we had a reservation but it wasn’t needed as it was a slow Thursday night, the service was okay although she didn’t check on us at all after providing us with our order, the food was mediocre at best and the portion sizes were small, there was no more than a handful of fries on the side of the chicken sandwich, do NOT order the Nashville chicken, we had both the appetizer and the sandwich and both were extremely underwhelming and not at all crispy. I ordered a half size salad and there was maybe 4 bites worth of greens in my bowl Extremely disappointed with this last visit and we decided it will be our LAST visit."

Overall good. I had shrimp tacos which were good. Service was good one of the steaks tasted off so they remade it and manager came by to apologize.

Patio needs attention. The possibilities are good but, can use some help with their flowers. Looks like they planted them and it at that. Need water, fertilizer and dead heading.

Flies everywhere! Black flies-disgusting! Totally ruined our meal which was ok. We mentioned the flies to the server who shrugged and said, “Yeah, they’re pretty bad”. We are intermittent Mr Mikes diners, but likely won’t come back to this location. Visualizza piatti

I had checked out the menu online before going, and with the Traditional steak option it only showed garlic mashed potatoes, so I was happy to hear that I could have a baked potatoe instead, wish it showed that on the menu. I would be nice if there were more veggies with the meal, and a bread basket for the table.

Just the basic Mike burger but the bread is not soft. Other than the loudmouth lady 2 tables over, it was good. Really miss the steak fries at Mr. Mikes. We go out of our way to make the journey here for 1984 nostalgic reasons but it’s not the same without steak fries. There are closer eats to reminisce at and this one may be too far now.

"A cornucopia of tasty candy which has been hand-made with love for generations by one of the sweetest families you'll ever meet. If you go up to Canada, you're going through one of my home towns, Blaine. It's worth the slight detour to explore Birch Bay, which is the part of Blaine on the water. Make sure to treat yourself to visiting The C Shop, still run by the family of my (i think) 3rd grade teacher, Mr. Alesse. He was one of the best teachers I ever had; and really loved and understood kids. His field trips were THE BEST, and he made learning enjoyable. He frequently brought in candy for the entire class, which was like having Santa Wonka as an educator. I can't say enough about what a wonderful person he was. My family had just moved to Blaine, and Mr. A was so incredibly gracious supportive to me during a fragile time. I'm still grateful for his kindness encouragement several decades later. I think the C Shop was started by his lovely wife Pat as a way to support their family on a teaching income during holidays and school closures. The shop still supports local teenagers who staff the counters and kitchen in the Summer, and is still run by the family and their now adult children. They did so well that many years back they expanded into a cafe w delicious soups, pizza, sammiches, home-made ice cream, sweet rolls and other delectables in addition to the many shelves full of their tried true hand-made confectionaries. That includes all types of chocolates, varieties of caramels, clustery crispy treats, fudge, brittles, and a plethora of other candies. They also sell retail things like Turkish delights. I'm not sure if they've downsized a bit, but they are currently selling taking online orders for the holidays. I encourage everyone traveling north to check out their website and see when you can stock up in person; but do be sure to support their limited mail order shop as well. Your sweet tooth will thank you; and so will anyone who gets a holiday gift from the kitchen of the wonderful Alesse family."
